What is the Huawei ecosystem
Before explaining to you how the Huawei ecosystem works, it seems only right to illustrate the components from which it is formed.
Well, as already mentioned at the opening of the post, an ecosystem is made up of hardware devices (ad es. smartphone, smartwatch, tablet e notebook), software e online services that cooperate to offer the user a series of functions that would otherwise require the installation and configuration, often cumbersome, of multiple third-party solutions (with results that are not as effective and efficient).
Huawei's ecosystem has strengthened significantly since 2019, when the US government applied some restrictions to the Chinese company that prevented it from integrating Google services into its devices.
Huawei responded to those decisions by launching Huawei Mobile Services: a set of solutions that includes an app and game store (HUAWEI AppGallery), a number of services such as HUAWEI Music for music and HUAWEI Video for streaming video content, an ID to synchronize your data on the cloud and access all company services (HUAWEI ID) and various software solutions, such as HUAWEI browser to browse online from smartphones and tablets, e HUAWEI Phone Clone, a software that allows you to transfer data (including photos, videos, contacts and messages) from one phone to another in seconds and wirelessly. To find out more, I suggest you take a look at the insights I have dedicated to Huawei Mobile Services and the HUAWEI AppGallery.
These services are flanked by i Huawei devices, including the family's recent smartphones P40, the tablet MatePad Pro, laptops MateBook X Pro, MateBook 13 and 14, the wireless earphones of the family FreeBuds and the smartwatches of the series Watch GT, which can cooperate with each other in various very Smart ways.
For example, it is possible to control the smartphone from the tablet or computer, exchange data between devices simply by touching them or with a drag-adn-drop and listen to music from the smartwatch without carrying the smartphone: but we will talk more about this in the next chapters of the guide. Read on to learn more.
How to use the Huawei ecosystem
Having made the necessary "presentations" of the Huawei ecosystem, I would say that the time has come to discover, in practice, how it works, giving you some practical examples of its potential.
Devices and functions
The functions of the Huawei ecosystem that guarantee the greatest impact - with a guaranteed "WOW effect" - are certainly those linked to HUAWEI Share: a system to connect Huawei smartphones, notebooks and tablets in a truly surprising way.
HUAWEI Share is supported by a wide range of recent Huawei devices, such as the family's smartphones P40, the tablet MatePad Pro and laptops MateBook X Pro, MateBook 13 and 14 (here you can find the complete list) and gives you access to many interesting functions.
For example, with the Multi-screen Collaboration it is possible to project the smartphone screen on the notebook or tablet, control the phone from the latter and exchange files between devices with a simple drag-and-drop (ie with a simple drag-and-drop of the elements to be transferred).
To take advantage of the Multi-screen Collaboration, you have to activate NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth on the devices to be connected; then you have to continue in a different way depending on the device in use.
connect a smartphone to a Huawei laptop, you have to start the software PC Manager on your computer (it is pre-installed, otherwise you can download it for free from the Huawei website by visiting the page relating to your notebook, eg. Huawei MateBook X Pro), then select the item My phone located at the bottom right, press on the option Multi-screen Collaboration and answer in the affirmative that appears on the phone.
In this way, a real-time reproduction of what happens on the smartphone screen will appear on the notebook display, with the possibility of controlling the latter with the touchpad and computer keyboard. You will also be able to transfer files from your phone to your computer by opening the app Gallery o File management on the virtual smartphone screen and dragging them to the laptop desktop; in the same way it will be possible to do a reverse drag and, again, copy-paste notes between the two devices.
With functions Clipboard sharing e Recent documents, both accessible from PC Manager, you can also view the list of notes and recent documents open on your devices. Very convenient, right? But that's not all!
You can share documents, photos and videos between smartphones and computers even using the system OneHop, which works independently of Multi-screen Collaboration. In fact, it is sufficient to select, on the smartphone, the files to be copied to the PC, place the phone on the computer and in a few moments the transfer of information takes place automatically.
Another gem? By shaking your smartphone and placing it on your notebook, you can start one computer screen recording (max 60 seconds), which will be saved directly on the phone, ready to be shared in case of need (eg to receive assistance via WhatsApp or other messaging systems).
Vedi offers your Amazonconnect a smartphone to a Huawei tablet, you must instead call up the notification area on the latter, press the icon relating to Multi-screen Collaboration and respond in the affirmative to the notice that appears on the phone.
In this way, a real-time reproduction of what happens on the smartphone screen will appear on the tablet display, with the possibility of controlling the latter and transferring files in a very simple way (by dragging the elements of interest from the panel with the screen of the smartphone to the Home screen of the tablet).

Vedi offers your AmazonAnother example of Smart interaction between Huawei devices is that of true wireless earphones FreeBuds 3i, FreeBuds 3 e FreeBuds Lite: the latter, in fact, can be paired with the smartphone in a much simpler way than with classic Bluetooth headsets.
By opening the FreeBuds case near a Huawei smartphone, a warning will appear on the latter that will allow you to establish the connection with the earphones with a simple tap.
Once the connection is established, subsequent pairings will be automatic and, therefore, FreeBuds will always be ready for use.

Having analyzed the most interesting usage scenarios of the Huawei ecosystem, I would say to move on to Skills, which allow you to access a wide range of digital content using a single identifier, HUAWEI ID, which can be easily created from any device of the Chinese company (both during the initial configuration of the same and later, acting from the settings).
First, by creating a HUAWEI ID you automatically have access to HUAWEI Mobile Cloud: a space to create online backups of Gallery, Contacts, Browser etc. and through which to synchronize your data with other devices.
Among the services to which you have access through HUAWEI ID there are those dedicated to entertainment, such as HUAWEI Music, a music streaming service with over 50 million songs and 1,2 million albums available, and HUAWEI Video, to access films, TV series and documentaries in high definition, in exchange for small monthly subscriptions (often preceded by free trial periods without any obligation to renew and with the possibility of canceling at any time).
It deserves a separate speech HUAWEI AppGallery: the Huawei app and game store that is constantly enriched with important applications and also offers exclusive content, prize draws and rewards.
You can access the services of the Huawei ecosystem from all the latest devices of the company. For more information on this, take a look at my tutorials on what HMS are and how they work and how HUAWEI AppGallery works.
