Preliminary information
Before getting into the tutorial, it is my duty to make some clarifications regarding the alternative keyboards for Android (and more). As I told you at the beginning of the post, in order to have the iPhone keyboard on Android it is sufficient to resort to the use of some special third-party keyboards, which can be found from Play Store, the store for devices based on Google's mobile operating system, or from external sources (via APK packages).
There are plenty of keyboards for Android, both free and paid, and with the most diverse designs and features. Just do a search on the aforementioned Play Store, typing in keywords like "keyboard" o "Keyboard", to immediately realize the thing.
As they say, however, not all that glitters is gold: before downloading a keyboard, particular attention must be paid, especially in the case of downloads from sources other than the Play Store, in order to avoid encountering nasty surprises, that is in order to avoid downloading "packaged" keyboards from malicious people, that could spy on activities of the user who uses it and keep track of all the texts typed on the mobile phone, including the passwords used to access the mailboxes, social networks and other Web services.
However, before installing any additional keyboards on your device, check that it is developer be reliable and check that in the Comments there are no reports of suspicious behavior of the application (eg the installation of unnecessary additional software or the display of invasive advertising banners). Even the keyboards on the Play Store could, if not directly spy on the user, have conditions related to privacy that are not exactly transparent.
My advice, to tell the truth, would be to desist and use only the default keyboard of the system (or, at most, that of Google), but if you really want to continue ... I leave you to some solutions that could be for you.
How to put iPhone keyboard on Android
Having made the necessary clarifications above, let's get to the real heart of the matter and let's see how to put the iPhone keyboard on Android. By reading the following chapters you will be able to discover, therefore, which are the best alternative keyboards to rely on to perform the operation covered by the tutorial. Have fun!
Kika keyboard
Kika is a solution that you can consider using to customize the keyboard of your Android device so that it resembles that of the iPhone. It integrates with numerous themes, including several in iOS style, and offers tons of customization possibilities. It focuses heavily on emojis, stickers, symbols and animated GIFs. It's free, but offers in-app purchases (starting at $ 1,09) to unlock additional content.
To download it on your device, visit the relevant section of the Play Store and tap the button Install. Then click on the button apri or select the relevant one icon which has been added to the home screen, in order to start the app.
At this point, award your bottone Enable Kika Keyboard and, in the Android settings screen that opens, move to ON the switch that you find next to the name of the keyboard, then press the button OK in response to the warning shown on the display.
Next, select the keyboard Kika from the list that appears on the screen, tap the "X" at the top right to close the advertisement, access the section Subject that you find at the top of the main screen of the app and search among the various themes available those inspired by the interface of the iPhone.
If this helps you, you can possibly perform a search by category by selecting the section Category (always placed at the top) and pressing on the items Business or Tech, which are the ones where mainly iPhone-style keyboards are grouped.
Once you have found the keyboard that interests you most, tap on its preview, press the button Download, by your complaint Install in the Play Store that has opened and then touches the button apri.
After completing all the steps above, Kika will check the compatibility of your device with the keyboard theme you have chosen and, if confirmed, you can start using the keyboard by tapping the button Apply and starting any app that supports text entry (eg. WhatsApp).
If you are interested in this, I would like to point out that, if necessary, you can also customize the keyboard settings by opening the app Kika on your device, by tapping on the item Settings located at the bottom right and then selecting the items on the screen according to the operation you intend to carry out. You can, for example, activate the sound of the keys, the vibration, choose whether or not to make the key available for emojis, etc.
Tastiera Cheetah
Tastiera Cheetah is a third-party keyboard for Android that includes a tool for correcting texts, a predictive system, support for the use of emojis, that of GIFs and the possibility of applying many different themes, including some that resume in toto the style of the keyboard of the iPhone, which is why I have chosen to tell you about it in this guide of mine. It's free, but offers in-app purchases (starting at $ 1,09) to unlock additional content.
To be able to use it, first download the keyboard on your device, by visiting the relevant section of the Play Store, by pressing the button Install and, subsequently, on that apri, in order to start the app. Alternatively, tap the relative icon which has been added to the home screen.
Now that you see the main screen of the application, click on the button Accept and activatecarry your ON the switch that you find next to the name of the keyboard in the Android settings and tap the button OK in response to the warning that appears on the screen. Next, hit the button Change and select Cheetah Keyboard from the list of keyboards.
At this point, click on the search field at the top right, type in keywords of the type "IPhone" or "IOS" and press the key with the magnifying glass present on the keyboard. Wait, therefore, for the list of themes that meet the search criteria to be visible, select the one you prefer and install it, by tapping on the button Get it for free.
You will then be sent back to the section of Play Store through which you can proceed to download the theme, by clicking on the button Install. When the download is complete, press the button apri comparso sul display oppure selects l 'icon of the theme that has just been added to the drawer, tap the button Apply and you can start using the newly installed iPhone-style keyboard in any app that supports text input (ex. WhatsApp).
If you want, you can also customize the operation of the keyboard, changing the vibration, sounds, language and layout, options related to text correction, etc. To do this, select theicon of Cheetah keyboard that you find in the drawer, tap on the item Settings located in the lower right part of the displayed screen and intervene on the various items available in correspondence with the section Settings.
Apple Keyboard
Apple Keyboard is an application that, once installed on the device, replicates in all respects the characteristics of the keyboard of Apple branded devices. It's free, but it contains advertisements. In addition, the keyboard only supports the use of English, which, however, does not prevent you from writing even in the city (or in other languages).
To download it on your device, first connect to the relevant section of the Play Store, then tap the button Install and, subsequently on that apri, in order to start the keyboard. Alternatively, select the relevant one icon which has just been added to the drawer.
In the Apple Keyboard screen that you now see, tap on the item Enable in Settings e carries his ON the switch next to the name of the keyboard in the Android settings screen, then confirm the choice made by pressing the button OK in response to the warning that appears on the display.
Then return to the Apple Keyboard screen, tap on the item Switch input methods, select the keyboard in question from the proposed list and tap on the item Finished. Done!
Now, you can finally start using the iPhone-style keyboard to type your text on Android. To try it now, open any app where you can use the keyboard (eg. WahtsApp), tap on the field dedicated to typing and start writing.
If you want, you can also change the theme used for the keyboard and its general settings. To do this, tap the logo di Apple Keyboard that you find on the top left of the keyboard or on the symbol of thegear attached to it, visible after tapping the button 123. Alternatively, you can press onicon of the application in the drawer.
From the screen that will be shown to you later, you can set the theme you prefer from the section Themes and you can choose whether or not to enable its for keyboard, vibration etc. from section General Settings. Any changes made are immediately applied.
