As I told you a few lines above, TIM is the only operator that makes a service available to its subscribers, called Last missed call, to which it is possible to contact to know the last call received on the landline. To take advantage of it, all you have to do is grab the handset of your home phone and dial the number 42400 to initiate a call to the latter.


Subsequently, a voice message will tell you the number, date and time of the last missed call. If necessary, you can also choose to immediately contact the reference number, following the instructions of the recorded voice and then pressing the corresponding key.

Note that the service is already active on all traditional telephone lines, while it is not available on VoIP / Fiber lines. Furthermore, it has no fee but they have to be paid for individual consultations, which have a cost of 10 cent. each. If desired, it is possible to trace the number of the caller of the last unanswered phone call also by enabling a voice alert that is reproduced automatically every time the telephone receiver is picked up. The service is free and to activate it just call the number 41400.

Another system that you have on your side with TIM to find out the phone number of whoever called you the last time on your home line is to use the function Who is it, which allows you to view the fixed or mobile network number of the person calling you on the telephone display, coupled with the use of a device with a display and equipped with a caller identification function.


If yours is a VoIP / Fiber line, the service is always active by default and is included in the price of the offer subscribed. If you have a traditional line, however, you must enable it by composing the code * 65 # on the numeric keypad and, in this case, the service is paid and costs 3,13 euro / month. Instead, by composing the code * # # 65 you can find out if the service is enabled or not, while the code # 65 # allows you to disable it. Your line is Infostrada? In this case, you can find out the last call received on the landline phone by always using the technique of consulting the telephone call log, after activating the service made available by the operator that allows you to know the caller's number.

To enable the service in question, called Invest, you need to contact the operator's customer support. To do this, make a call to the number 155 from your home phone. Once the phone call has started, wait a few seconds to listen to the instructions of the recorded voice. Then press the button for receive assistance from a consultant (should match the 2), confirm your intention to receive assistance from a consultant pressing the corresponding key (it should be the 3) and wait for the first free operator to respond to your request. However, keep in mind that the instructions I have reported to you above are valid at the time I am writing you this guide, but in the future they may be subject to changes. So, to avoid form errors and unnecessary waste of time, always listen to the instructions provided by the guide voice and follow the steps described by the latter.

The InVista service, keep this in mind, can be enabled on both Fiber and ADSL networks and has a cost equal to 2 euro / month in case of direct coverage by Infostrada (ULL). For all customers not covered directly from Infostrada (WLR) the service, on the other hand, has a cost equal to 2,20 euro / month. To activate the service, therefore, go to the MyFastPage home page and if necessary log in to your account by filling in the fields on the screen. Next, select the item Proposal at the top, click on the wording Additional services in the menu that opens, presses the button Buy / Configure located at the bottom and choose to enable the service Who calls.
