Create a PayPal account online
Have PayPal it's a simple procedure that takes just a few minutes. All you have to do is access the service site or download the application for smartphones and tablets, enter the required data and open a PayPal account online at no cost with which you can receive and send money.
To open a PayPal account online, then connected to the main page of the service, click on the button Subscribe present at the top right and, in the new open page, choose the type of account you are interested in.
- Personal account: is a private account that allows you to make purchases, receive and send money. Allows you to associate your bank accounts, one or more credit cards (Visa, Visa Electron e MasterCard) or prepaid cards, such as PayPal e Postepay.
- Business account: the best solution for those who have an online business. The Business account allows you to accept instant payments from all over the world at competitive rates and allows multi-user access for up to 20 people.
Made your choice, put the check mark next to the account of your interest and press the button Continue. If you have chosen a personal account, enter the required data in the fields Country, Your name, Last name, Email address e Password e pulsing sul pulsating Continue. In the section Let's create your account, enter your billing information in the fields Address, POSTAL CODE, City, Province, Birthday e Cellphone, put the check mark next to the item You confirm that you have read and accepted the PayPal Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and that you are of legal age, then choose whether to always stay connected to your account and receive offers and promotions from PayPal via email by placing the respective check marks and clicking on the button Accept and create account. Within a few moments you will receive an email from PayPal to confirm your email and take advantage of all the features of the newly opened account: click on the confirmation link contained in the email and you're done.
If, on the other hand, you have chosen to open a Business account, insertion il tuo email address in the ready field and the pulsating pigment Continue, then enter the required data in the fields Password, Name surname, Business name, Company phone, Address, POSTAL CODE, City e Province, put the check mark next to the item I confirm that I have read and accepted the PayPal Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (including the processing and disclosure of my personal data) and that I am of legal age and click on the button Continue.
In the Corporate data, indicate the type of activity you carry out (Private, Individual enterprise, Partnership, Public authority etc.) via the drop-down menu What is the type of company, then specify the type of activity category e pulsing sul pulsating Continue. Finally, specify nationality e date of birth account holder and click the button Continue. Within a few moments you will receive an email containing an activation link: press on it to complete the opening of your PayPal Business account.
Have you already opened a personal account and want to switch to a Business account? No problem! Log into your PayPal account, click on the icon rotella d'ingranaggio present at the top right, locate the section Account options, click on the item Switch to a Business account and, on the newly opened page, select the option Change account category. Then enter the required data (they are the same as I indicated earlier for opening a Business account) and that's it.
You must know that you can open a new personal PayPal account also from smartphones and tablets by downloading the application PayPal for Android, iOS and Windows 10 Mobile devices. After downloading it from the store of your device, start it and tap on the item Don't have a PayPal account? Sign in, then select your nationality, enter your data in the fields Your name, Last name, Email address, Password, Birthday, Address, POSTAL CODE , City, Province e Cellphone, put the check mark required to accept the PayPal conditions of use and declare that you have read the privacy policy and press the buttons Accept and create account e OK.
Once you have created your account, tap on the item Not now to skip the procedure for connecting a bank account or a credit or prepaid card and press the button Continue to verify your phone number. Then enter the code received via SMS in the field Confirmation code e pulsing sul pulsating NEXT to verify your number and start using PayPal.
Have a PayPal prepaid card
You should know that PayPal is not just an online account for receiving and sending money but it is also available in the form of a prepaid MasterCard card, which allows you to shop online, receive wire transfers, withdraw cash from ATMs and much more.
Unfortunately, starting from May 9, 2019, PayPal prepaid cards are no longer available for purchase: those previously purchased can be activated within 6 months of purchase and used until expiration. Having said that, let's see how to use them.
In order to use the PayPal prepaid card, you must complete its online activation. Then connect to the Lottomatica website and press the button Request activation, then enter yours fiscal Code and activation code of the card in the appropriate fields, presses the button Generate SMS code, enter the code received by message in the field SMS code and click on the button Log in.
Now, fill out the registration form with your personal data, upload a copy of your identity document (the same one used to purchase the card), proceed with the video recognition and sign the contract to complete the activation of the card. Regarding the economic conditions of the card, it will be useful to know that a commission of 2 € for top-ups by bank transfer and at Lottomaticard and di 2,50 € for top-ups made at the ATMs of the Banca Sella Group and of the banks belonging to the QUI Multibanca Circuit. The cash withdrawal, on the other hand, is free if carried out at the ATMs of the Banca Sella Group, while it has a commission of 1,90 € if the withdrawal takes place at Lottomaticard Points and ATMs of other banking institutions. Link a card to your PayPal account
Link a card to your PayPal account allows you to remove the limits imposed, for security reasons, on all new PayPal accounts. It also allows you to withdraw cash by transferring the money available in your online account to a physical card and paying on online shopping sites, such as Amazon, which do not directly accept payment with your PayPal account.
As previously mentioned, it is possible to connect to the PayPal account not only your PayPal card but also your credit card and the prepaid Postepay card. Furthermore, it is possible to associate your bank account with the PayPal account online: in both cases, there is no connection fee.
To make a connection with your PayPal account, access the section Our customers present in the top menu and click on the option Link a card, then select the paper type (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, PayPal prepaid, American Express, Discover, Letter Aura) process the menu to tendin Kind of paper, enter the data in the fields Card number, End Date, CVV e pulsing sul pulsating Save.
Within 48 hours of adding the card to your PayPal account, you will be charged a small amount (which will be fully refunded) to confirm the validity of the coordinates entered and remove the spending limits. To proceed, log into your PayPal account, select the option Our customers, click on paper to confirm, select the item Confirm your credit card, enter the exact amount that was charged to you and that's it. If, on the other hand, you want to remove a card, select the one you want to delete, click on the items Modification e Remove paper e pulsing sul pulsating Remove to confirm your intention.
To link a bank account, access the section again Our customers, click the option Link a bank account, enter the code IBAN of your account and presses the button Continue. On the next screen, click the button Accept if you want to enable direct debit on your current account for your online purchases with PayPal, otherwise select the option Ignore. To confirm the added bank account, wait 2-3 days, identify the two amounts that PayPal has debited from your current account, access the section Our customers PayPal, select the Bank account to be confirmed and enter the amounts charged. To make a connection between your PayPal account and a bank account or card from your smartphone and tablet, start the PayPal application, log in to your account and tap on the rotella d'ingranaggio. Now, select the option Bank accounts and cards, pigia sul pulsating + and press on the item Bank account to link your bank or option account À la Carte to add a new credit card or prepaid card.
In the first case, type the code IBAN of your account in the appropriate field, select the paese in which it is registered and press the buttons Link your bank account e NEXT. Choose, therefore, whether to activate the direct debit of your purchases made with PayPal on your current account by pressing the button Accept, otherwise tap on the item Ignore.
If, on the other hand, you want to add a card to your PayPal online account, on the screen Choose the type of paper select the option of your interest between American Express, Letter Aura, Discover, Maestro, MasterCard e Visa, insertion il card number in the appropriate field (or tap on the camera to add the card via the camera of your device) and specify the required data in the fields MM / YY (for card expiration) e CVV. To complete the connection, tap the button Link card And that's it.
