Preliminary information
Before getting to the heart of this guide and explaining how to recover a Brawl Stars account, you should know that in order to recover your game progress in full autonomy, it is necessary to have previously connected Brawl Stars to a Supercell ID.
If you've never heard of it before, a Supercell ID is a free account that allows you to save your online progress in titles produced by Supercell, including Brawl Stars, and sync them across all your devices. If you don't already have one, my guide on how to create a Supercell ID may be helpful.
In addition, I point out that it is possible to recover your Brawl Stars account also through Android's Google Play Games service and iOS / iPadOS Game Center. Also in this case, however, to restore the game data is necessary to have previously connected Brawl Stars to one of the services in question.
Note also that, unlike a Supercell ID, with Google Play Games and Game Center it is not possible to recover Brawl Stars game progress on a device with a different operating system than the one previously used to connect the game.
To understand this better, let's take a practical example: if you previously connected Brawl Stars to Google Play Games on an Android device, you will be able to retrieve your game progress only by logging in to Google Play Games (with the same Google account) from another Android Device. You will not be able to do this from an iPhone.
Finally, it will be useful to know that if you have not linked your Brawl Stars account to any of the services I just listed, you can try to recover a lost account through Supercell's automated support service. I'll explain what to do later in this guide.
How to recover a lost Brawl Stars account
The easiest and quickest procedure to recover a lost Brawl Stars account is to log into the game with your Supercell IDs.
If you linked your game to the account in question and now wish to restore your game progress, start Brawl Stars and, on the main screen, select the Start option. On the new screen that appears, in the Stored IDs section, tap on the name associated with your Brawl Stars account and you will automatically be able to resume the game where you left off.
If, on the other hand, you do not see your game progress or you have started Brawl Stars on a new device, tap the Continue button, enter the email address associated with your Supercell ID in the Enter your email field and press the Start button.
At this point, access your inbox, locate the email sent by Supercell and note the 6-digit Verification Code contained within it. Once you have done this, return to the Brawl Stars Almost There! screen, enter the code in question in the appropriate field and tap the Submit button to verify your identity.
Finally, in the screenshot Upload game accounts? screen, press the Confirm button to access Brawl Stars and retrieve your game progress.
How to say, you have started Brawl Stars and a new game is automatically loaded? In this case, tap the ☰ button at the top right, select the Supercell ID option from the menu that opens, click the Start button and, in the new screen that appears, select the Continue option.
In some cases, after starting the game, you may see the message Do you want to load more progress with the level [level number]? Upload them by logging into your Supercell ID. If this is your case, click the OK button and tap the Continue option.
At this point, to log in with your Supercell ID and retrieve your Brawl Stars game progress, enter your email address in the corresponding field, click the Start option and follow the instructions I gave you in the previous lines, to verify your identity and access Brawl Stars with your Supercell ID. How to recover your Brawl Stars account without Supercell ID
As mentioned in the first lines of this guide, it is possible to recover Brawl Stars account without Supercell ID, provided you have linked the game to Google Play Games your Android or Game Center your iPhone/iPad.
To continue, if you have an Android device, then launch Brawl Stars and wait for the game to load. Press, then, on the ☰ button located at the top right, select the Settings item in the menu that opens and, in the new screen that appears, tap the Google Play Sign In option, to automatically sign in with the Google account associated with your device.
Excuse me, is your game associated with a different Google account? In that case, after connecting to Google Play Games for the first time, log back into Brawl Stars settings and press the ✓ button placed next to the Google Play Sign in item, to sign out.
At this point, press the Google Play Access option again and, in the Choose your account screen, select the Google account of your interest or press on the Add another account item, to use a Google account other than those listed.
In both cases, if everything went well, you will see the message Hello, [username used in Google Play Games] and the ✓ symbol next to the item Access Google Play.
If, instead, you have an iPhone / iPad, tap the gear wheel icon present on the home screen or in the applications library, to access the iOS / iPadOS settings, and press the Game Center option. At this point, if the service in question is not active, move the lever next to the item Game Center from OFF to ON and press one of the available options between Continue, to access the service in question with the Apple ID associated with the device in use, or Are you not [name]? to log in with another Apple ID.
Note that if the Game Center service is not active on your iPhone / iPad, you can activate it and log in with your Apple ID even directly from Brawl Star. If so, start the game, choose the Play Without option (to start Brawl Star without using a Supercell ID) and, in the Game Center screen welcomes you, enter theemail address associated with your Apple ID in the appropriate field.
Once you have done this, enter your Apple ID password in the Password field and press the Start button. If everything went well, you should see the message Logged in as [username used in Game Center], at the top, and all your game progress will load automatically.
How to recover Brawl Stars account with Facebook
If you're wondering if it is possible to recover Brawl Stars account with Facebook, I'm sorry to tell you that the answer is no. In fact, the connection of the game with the famous social network is only useful to see Facebook friends who play the title developed by Supercell.
That said, if you still want to connect Brawl Stars to Facebook, start the game and wait for it to load. Press, then, on the ☰ button located at the top right, select the settings option from the menu that opens and, in the new screen that appears, tap the Accedi button with Facebook visible in the Play with friends box.
Now, press the Continue button and, if you have the Facebook app installed on your device and you are logged in with your account, select the option Continue as [name], to connect Brawl Stars and Facebook.
Once this is done, to see Facebook friends playing Brawl Stars, click on the Online Players option (the littlegreen man icon, top right), tap the Go with Friends button and select the Friends tab. At this point, press the name of the player you are interested in and select the profile option, to view his progress in the game (e.g. Record trophy, Individual victories, Record points in thirst for power etc.).
In case of problems
If you followed in detail the instructions I gave you in the previous paragraphs, you should be able to recover your account in Brawl Stars. If, on the other hand, all your attempts have not yielded the desired result, you can use Supercell's automated support service.
However, before doing that, make sure you have an email address that you have not associated with any Supercell ID (in this regard, my guide on how to create a new email may be helpful). In fact, Supercell staff will try to recover your lost Brawl Stars account and associate it with a new Supercell ID that will be created during the recovery procedure.
In addition, you will need to specify theplayer ID associated with the lost account. If you do not remember it, you can ask a user you have added among your Brawl Stars friends or your Facebook contact (if you have associated the game to the famous social network) to access the Brawl Stars Friends section, press your name and select the profile option, to see theplayer ID.
That said, start Brawl Stars on your device and wait for the game to load. Then press the ☰ button located at the top right, tap the settings option and, in the new screen that appears, press the Guide & Wizard item.
Now, choose the Account option, tap the Account Recovery and I lost my account items and carefully follow the instructions displayed on the screen. Once this is done, locate the Still need help? section and tap the Contact button, to access the automatic support chat.
At this point, select the Account related questions option, tap the Lost account option and follow the instructions given by the virtual assistant to try to recover your lost account.
