How to open RPF files on computer
As I have already explained to you, however open RPF on computer it is absolutely necessary to obtain the appropriate program (RedditiOnLine PF) made available by the Revenue Agency. To use it, however, the presence of Java and the attached virtual machine, therefore it is imperative that the Java JRE (o Java Runtime Environment) is installed on the PC from which you intend to act: below I am going to provide you with all the necessary instructions.
Install Java Runtime Environment
Now that you know what to do, it's finally time to take action! First, then, connected to the Java website, click on the red button Java Free Download and repeat the operation with the button Accept and start the free downloado which appears on the next page.
At this point, wait for the setup file (eg. JavaSetup8u171) is completely downloaded to your computer and launch it without hesitation. If you are using Windowspigia sui pulsanti Yes e Install, wait for the procedure to be completed and finally presses on Close when the window appears notifying that the software has been installed.
Keep in mind that if obsolete versions of Java are found on the computer you are operating from, you will be asked to delete them during installation: to do this, click on the buttons Uninstall e NEXT in the related dialog boxes.
If you are using MacOSinstead, after starting the package .dmg downloaded previously, launch the file pkg which is inside to start the actual setup process. Once this is done, click on the button twice consecutively Continue, then presses the button Install then, when prompted, enter the password of your macOS account (the one you use to access the system, so to speak) and click again on the button Install software to confirm the will to move forward. Once the process is finished, all you have to do is press the button Close And that's it!

For Linux, in particular Ubuntu, you can install the JVM using the repositories made available by Webupd8. Before proceeding, however, I advise you to get rid of any open source versions of Java already present on your computer: to do this, open the terminal recalling it from Activity view, type the command sudo apt purge openjdk* followed by the key Submit, when requested, enter the administrator password and press the button twice again Submit to confirm the willingness to proceed.
At this point, all you have to do is add the Java repositories to Ubuntu and install from there: to proceed, issue the command sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java && sudo apt update && sudo apt install oracle-java8-installer followed by Submit, enter the administrator password when prompted and complete the Java installation following the instructions provided on the screen.

Start the IncomePF software
Now that you have the Java virtual environment installed, you can open RPF files in your possession using the specific program made available by the Revenue Agency. To proceed, first connect to this website, click on the link RedditiOnLine PF XXXX (where XXXX represents the current year, e.g. 2019) and wait for the file with extension JNLP downloaded to your computer.
When the download is complete, launch the file in question and, if you deem it appropriate, put the check mark next to the item Do not show this message again for applications from the publisher and location indicated above to avoid the appearance of the warning message each time the software is run and click on the button Run.
The game is practically done: press the button Next >> to start the first configuration procedure, put the check mark next to the item of your interest (eg. Subject submitting the Declaration on its own behalf) and click on your button end to launch the Java application. Keep in mind that, if you are acting as a representative or official of the Revenue Agency office, you will need to specify your tax code in the box immediately below.
At this point you can finally import the RPF file in your possession and view the information it contains: to do so, access the menu File> Import Declaration di RedditiOnLine PF, select the item prebuilt from the available options, press the button twice NEXT, by pressing the button Shop by Departmentselect il file RPF in your possession (eg. Codice_Fiscale_PRECOMP2017.rpf) using the panel shown on the screen and click on the button Import to confirm the data acquisition. If you intend to proceed further and add more information to the statement, please follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
Should you ever need to use this program again, you can find it in the folder Unique On Line placed in the menu Home di Windows (accessible by clicking on the icon in the shape of pennant located in the lower left corner of the screen); if, instead, you use MacOS o Linux, you will instead have to follow the instructions I gave you at the beginning of this section, that is, connect to the website of the Revenue Agency (which, at this point, I recommend that you include in your browser's favorite sites) and click on the link RedditiOnLine PF XXXX.
How to open RPF files on smartphones and tablets
If you have arrived in this section, it means that you need to open RPF files on your smartphone or tablet since you mainly use this type of device. If this is your case, I must tell you right away that there is no solution that allows you to open the aforementioned file type on Android or iOS, but you can still get something like this using a "support" PC on which to run the program I told you about in the previous lines, to be checked later through the mobile device, through an app of remote control. Below I am going to provide you with all the information on this procedure.
Copy the RPF file to your computer
To proceed in the manner illustrated above, you must first move the RPF file from your smartphone / tablet to the computer you intend to use to proceed: if you are using a device Android, you can simply connect the terminal you have to the PC via the supplied USB cable, access it through the appropriate icon that appears in Esplora File / Finder and move the file you are interested in to your computer disk through a copy paste. I invented stai using a iPhone or iPad, I recommend that you upload the file in question to iCloud Drive and download it later directly from the computer you intend to use as a "backup": to proceed, access the file in question through the app Fillet di iOS, select the RPF file, tap the button with the symbol of sharing and select iCloud from available apps. After a few moments, it will be possible to download the shared file directly from the PC, using the appropriate program or the Web version of the service.

Control the PC remotely
Now that you have finally prepared everything you need, it's time to figure out how to view RPF files through your smartphone or tablet: as I explained earlier, you can do this using an app for the remote control of the computer, in order to open the file in question from the PC and view everything directly on the screen of the mobile device in your possession.
The solution that I can recommend is TeamViewer, a program for remote access of very simple configuration and equipped with a practical app dedicated to smartphones and tablets: all you have to do, therefore, is to download and install TeamViewer (available for Windows, macOS and Linux) on your computer, start it and take note of theID and Password shown on the software screen.
Once this is done, you just have to install the app TeamViewer for Remote desktop (available for Android and iOS) directly from the store of your terminal, start it and enter, when requested, the information noted previously: at this point, you can control the computer from your device screen. So you just have to follow the instructions I gave you in the previous chapter to download, install and use the PC software provided by the Revenue Agency.
