How to have twins in The Sims 4
The Sims 4 allows the player to have twins in the game by taking advantage of the mechanics of Fertility.
In particular, the main method of having a twin birth is to get your partner pregnant and then buy the bonus Fertile. To do this, you need to have an advanced relationship with the other Sim. Therefore, I advise you to keep trying kiss and hug your sweet half, to make her more inclined to have a child.
Once your better half is ready, press on Yes in question or on the double bed, the items will appear Try to have a baby o Fai fiki fiki: you just have to choose one of these two options and wait a few days in the game (tens of minutes in the real world). If everything went well, the woman will begin to have the baby bump and in the lower left part of the screen will appear thebaby pacifier icon, a sign that your partner is pregnant!
At this point, click on the icon Satisfaction (the first from left to right at the bottom right) and select thegift box icon: in this way, you will access the Rewards shop and you can buy the bonus Fertile, which will increase your chances of having twin births.
The bonus costs 3.000 Satisfaction points: the latter can be obtained by completing the tasks proposed by the Satisfaction tab or by performing various actions in the game. I want to clarify that in the DLC called A day at the Spa it is also possible to take advantage of "fertilizing massages" at any Spa.
Now, you just have to wait a few days in the game and wait for your Sim to be ready to give birth: you can follow the progress of the pregnancy through thebaby pacifier icon present at the bottom left.
When the woman is ready, the voice will appear Give birth in the hospital. Now you just have to press on the latter and hope that luck is on your side. In fact, there is no safe method (without tricks) to have a twin birth, since the game was designed in this way.
How to have triplets in The Sims 4
The Sims 4 also allows you to have triplets, although in this case the luck factor becomes even more important. For this reason, in case you still want to have a twin or triplet birth in the game, I recommend that you take advantage of some tricks. Before starting to use them, however, I invite you to type the command testingcheats true, to verify that the cheats are enabled.
To make your sweetheart ready to have a baby right away, press the key combination Ctrl+Shift+C (PC), L1+L2+R1+R2 (PS4) o LB+LT+RB+RT (Xbox One) and type the writing modifyrelationship NomeSim CognomeSim NomePartner CognomePartner 99 romance_main (eg modifyrelationship configurehow Maria Rossi 99 romance_main). In case you want, instead, to get satisfaction points to spend for the Fertile bonus, you can do it by typing the message sims.give_satisfaction_points numeropunti (es. sims.give_satisfaction_points 3000).
To be sure that you are having a twin or triplet birth, type the command Sims.Get_Sim_ID_By_Name OrSimIncinta CognomeSimIncinta (eg. Sims.Get_Sim_ID_By_Name Maria Rossi). Then, write down the 18-digit number that appears on the screen.
At this point, enter the command Pregnancy.Force_Offspring_Count SimIDIncinta Numerogemelli (eg Pregnancy.Force_Offspring_Count 123456789123456789 3). This way, you can set the number of twins that will be born. The ID to use is clearly that of the pregnant woman you got with the previous command. Please note: the Sim in question must already be pregnant before using these last two tricks.
Once this is done, you can speed up the pregnancy through the command Sims.Add_Buff Buff_Pregnancy_Inlabor, so your Sim is ready to go to the hospital to give birth. I advise you to try to buy empty cribs: in some cases, children appear directly there. Perfect, you have now had your twins or triplets!
Warning: these tricks may sometimes not work due to some problem with the progress of the game. For this reason, my advice, in case they don't work, is to try to use them several times (perhaps saving the game at the beginning of pregnancy and reloading the game) or using the procedure described in the chapter on how to have two twins on The Sims 4 (same for giving birth with triplets).
How to have twins in The Sims 2
Also The Sims 2 allows you to have twins in the game. However, in this case, it is possible to have only two twins and not three.
To achieve the goal, it is enough for the two Sims to make love, verify that the woman is pregnant and use makeup forcetwins. But let's go in order.
First, you need to make sure you have an established relationship with your partner. To do this, keep on hug, kiss and invite your significant other on dates, until you see theheart icon full under the Sim in question (you can find this information by clicking ontwo Sims holding hands icon present on the right). To perform an action involving the partner, simply click on it and select one of the available options.
Once this is done, tap on double bed present in the house and select the item Take it easy. You have to do this with both Sims and wait for them to settle next to each other in the bedroom. At this point, press on Yes you are not using and select the item Try to have a baby o Fai fiki fiki.
After the Sims have made love, you will have to wait a few days to find out if the woman is pregnant: if the baby bump, it means that everything went well, otherwise you will have to try to repeat the procedure.
Once you have verified that the woman has a baby bump, press the buttons Control+Shift+C on the keyboard of your PC and type the message in the field that appears forcetwins, then confirming the use of makeup.
Now you just have to wait a few days in the game (tens of minutes in the real world) and a movie will start showing you the birth of the twins, to whom you will have to give names. Seen? It wasn't that hard!
If, on the other hand, you don't want to use cheats, you might think about leading to Super Fertility your female Sim's aspirations. Clearly, your Sim's aspiration must be set to Family and I remind you that carrying out this operation will cost you 4 suction points.
