The Hogwarts Legacy game is available in several versions to purchase before its official release. Different versions provide unique rewards as well as access to the game. These rewards are useful and may be worth it for some players. Here's what you need to know if you should get Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition.
Is it worth buying Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition?
It all comes down to what elements you want to bring into the main story. The Deluxe Edition for Hogwarts Legacy includes the Onyx Hippogriff, Felix Felicis Potion, a Hogsmeade Haunted Shop quest, and a Dark Arts Garrison hat. It also comes with the Dark Arts Pack, which includes Thesatral Mount, a Dark Arts Cosmetic Set, and Dark Arts Battle Arena. All players who purchase the Deluxe Edition will receive 72 hours of early access to the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

If you're not planning on Hogwarts Legacy on any current-gen platforms and will be playing on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, or Xbox One, buying the Deluxe Edition wouldn't be a good idea. For anyone satisfied enough to play when it officially launches, you're better off getting the Standard Edition, which includes Onyx Hippogriff, Felix Felicis Potion, and the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop Quest. You miss out on 72 hours of early access and the Dark Arts Pack, which is mostly cosmetic.
It all comes down to whether you want to play Early Access. If not, choosing the standard Hogwarts Legacy edition is the best option. Aside from cosmetic items and early access, the Deluxe Edition doesn't offer much to players and offers multiple rewards.
