Hogwarts Legacy is out now and one of the most intriguing things about the game is the ability to ride a flying broomstick to fly around the world of Hogwarts. Yes, flying is the dream of mankind, after all: how can you watch a baby bird fly and not wish you could do the same?

Hogwarts Legacy, Gobbles Galore: Where To Find All Gobbles
In this guide, we'll reveal the best Hogwarts Legacy broom, how to make it go faster, and how to get more broom styles in the game. Be sure to check out our Hogwarts Legacy guide for everything you need to know about the game, including puzzle solutions, where to find items, and more.
What broom to buy? —
Once you've completed your first flying lesson and unlocked the ability to ride a broom, you'll need to purchase one from Spintwitches Sports Equipment in Hogsmeade.
You can choose one of three, but here's a secret: they are all identical in terms of performance. Just choose the one you like the most.
How to unlock more brooms —
Having a flying broomstick is cool, but you know what's better? Have more than one. If you want more brooms, just go back to Spintwitches Sports Equipment and shop for the other brooms for sale; the selection will expand over time to include other items, such as a broom that "dresses up" your house colors. Other vendors and merchants around the world also sell brooms, some of which are more expensive, despite having the same stats.
Sometimes they will give you brooms to complete quests. Finally, you can get brooms by completing flying challenges. You'll find them in the Exploration section of the Challenges menu. The challenges you need to complete include popping various balloons that are floating around the world of Hogwarts. You can do this by simply flying through it with your broom.
The best broom in Hogwarts Legacy —
The best Hogwarts Legacy broomstick is the one you'll like the most, basically.
All proposed options will have the same level of performance, and once you unlock the upgrades, they can be applied to your entire selection of headsets.
How to upgrade the broom —
The only way to make the broom go faster is to buy broom upgrades, of which there are three in total. Spintwitches Sports Equipment owner Albie Weekes will offer you quests to test out his power-ups. This will usually require you to complete flying challenges, passing through rings scattered across the sky in a given time limit, or competing against other competitors.
These broom upgrade quests will unlock gradually throughout the story, so you can't rush through the Weekes quest line. Just tackle the missions as they become available to you.
