Hogwarts Legacy allows the player to fully explore Hogwarts like never before. While the movie tie-in games have progressed to the point where they can fully explore Hogwarts, the games have never allowed players to explore the area outside of Hogwarts.
In Hogwarts Legacy, you can explore Hogwarts and its surroundings. It is the first time that the Harry Potter franchise has allowed the player to do such a thing.
With a great map to explore, of course, the developers have included some secret puzzles that you can solve to get rewards.
All locations and secret solutions - Hogwarts Legacy
#1 Secret of the bridge
There is a secret puzzle that leads to a reward upon completion.
It is in the hogwarts bridge. You can find it using the interactive map we have, which is a complete recreation of the Hogwarts Legacy map.
The bridge will have four braziers that you can light by pulling Fuego in them. Once you've done that, look for this in the floor (see image above).
As you can see, there are four different shapes with Roman numerals above them. Each shape can be found in braziers.
What you have to do is turn the brazier around until it appears correct Roman numeral found under the form.
Here are the solutions:
- Diamond with X – IV
- Triangle with a circle below – III
- Two circles with a line in the middle – II
- Triangle with lines – I
Once you complete the puzzle you will unlock a passage leading under the bridge where you can find a big breast.
#2 Secret of the pendulum
en Ala Sud where big pendulum I mean, there's a secret that has something to do with the big pendulum.
This large swinging pendulum can be stopped using Momentum shutdown.
Stopping the pendulum will do unlock the door locking the door here. However, that is not all it can do.
In the room opposite the pendulum, go law and you should see a lockable door. Use Alomora to open it and go up the stairs.
You can roam the area here and find other doors blocking the way. You will, however, notice that the game will sometimes attempt to open, only to immediately stop and close. You can also see that there are symbols on these doors, the ones in the main room.
en principal room, you can find the same symbols in front of you, with the pendulum swinging back and forth between them. A discerning eye will notice that when the pendulum passes through some of the symbols, the door tries to open briefly.
With that in mind, you will need to use Momentum shutdown on the pendulum I like passes one of the symbols to stop it. This will open the door fully, allowing you to continue exploring.
#3 Secret key
The last secret that you can find here is in the Grand Staircase Tower. However, you will have to go to the director's office First.
Upon entering the director's office, look at yours hand and you should see a door closed which requires a Tier 2 accommodation.
Unlock it and you can get on a flight of scale.
Going up the stairs you will find another locked door. This time, however, you will have to unlock a 3 level gate.
Unlock it and check it out.
Go up the stairs until you reach another office. Look at desk and you should find a clef.
Take it.
The key is used to open this door that has a lot of intricate lock. Once open, the door will open another flight of stairs that leads to a room with a collectible for field guide.
