The wand is vital in Hogwarts Legacy, otherwise you'd be unarmed right? Well, there is something else you should know...
GLHF
Hogwarts Legacy will ask you to make many decisions early in the game, including questions to answer at character creation, such as whether you want to be a wizard or a witch. Once you visit Hogsmeade, you'll be forced to make other key decisions, and it's unclear if there's any difference between the various options.
One of them is the creation of wands. By visiting the Ollivanders Wand Shop in Hogwarts Legacy, you can essentially customize your wand, as well as deciding what kind of wood you want to use, what kind of core it should have, and more.

The creation of the wand: does it change anything? | Hogwarts Legacy -
You'll have several options when choosing how to customize your wand in Hogwarts Legacy, including a core, type, what wood you'll want to use, length, stiffness, and more.
But ultimately none of this will really matter. Choose freely how to compose your wand, according to your aesthetic sense or the mythology of Harry Potter. In short, select the wand that best represents the wizard or witch you have created.
How to get the Elder Wand —
However, you can potentially get the Elder Wand at Hogwarts Legacy.
To do this, you'll need to complete a Wizarding World quiz and make sure to link your Wizarding World account to the game.
The handles of the wand -
Wand handles can be picked up throughout the game in the same way as equipment, but as with wand customization, they have no impact other than cosmetic.
You don't necessarily have to use grips, but if you're style conscious, you should try them all.
How to store the wand —
When playing Hogwarts Legacy, you don't have to worry too much about showing your wand in public.
Your character will automatically save it after you have finished using it for a certain period of time.
