Eat videochiamare with iPhone with FaceTime
The prima soluzione che puoi prendere in considerazione per videochiamare with iPhone è FaceTime. If you have never heard of it before, you should know that it is an application installed "standard" on all devices of the "bitten apple" that allows you to call and video call people in possession of an Apple device (provided that have themselves configured FaceTime).
If you think this is the most suitable solution for your needs, first take your iPhone, press the icon of rotella d'ingranaggio, to access the Settings iOS, then tap on the item FaceTime and move the toggle next to the option FaceTime da OFF a ON, to activate the service in question (you may be charged the cost of an international SMS, usually € 0,30). At this point you are ready to use FaceTime to make your first video call. To proceed, start FaceTime by tapping on its icon (the white video camera on green background) on the home screen, and press the button +, located at the top right. In the new screen that appears, enter the name, phone number or email address associated with the Apple ID of the person you want to call in the field A: and press pulsating Video, to start the video call.
Alternatively, press the button again +, select the person to call, tap on the option Video and select the item FaceTime from the menu that opens. Then press the button Video, to start the video call, and that's it.
It will be useful to know that in the same way you can also make a group video call: before starting the call by selecting the option Video, simply select all the contacts to include in the video call. To learn more, I leave you to my guide on how FaceTime works.
How to video call with iPhone with WhatsApp
How do you say? You would like to know how to make video call from iPhone to Samsung? In that case, to call even those who don't have an Apple device, you can use WhatsApp. In fact, the famous messaging application also allows you to make calls and video calls over the Internet.
To video call with WhatsApp, access the App Store and start the download of the app in question, as I indicated in my guide on how to download WhatsApp. At the first start, press the button Accetta and continue, insertion il tuo telephone number in the appropriate field and tap on the item Yes, to receive an SMS containing a verification code useful for verifying your identity and completing the registration.
Once your account is activated, select the option Call, located in the menu at the bottom, tap on the icon of handset, at the top right, locate the contact you want to call (WhatsApp automatically imports the contacts from the iOS address book, so make sure you allow this) and press on the relative icon of the video camera, to start the video call. If, on the other hand, you want to make a group video call, press the handset icon, select the option New group call, put the check mark next to the contacts to include in the call and tap the icon video camera, to start the video call.
Alternatively, if you have recently chatted with the person you want to call, go to the section Chat of WhatsApp, tap on conversazione of your interest and, in the new screen displayed, tap the icon of video camera, top right. How to video call with iPhone with Messenger
Messenger, Facebook's messaging app, is another viable solution for video calling with iPhone. In addition to sending text and voice messages, it allows you to make free calls and video calls to all people who have a Facebook account.
To make a video call with Messenger, take your iPhone and start the app in question by tapping on its icon (the heavenly speech bubble on white background). If the latter is not yet installed on your "iPhone by", start the App Store and follow the instructions I gave you in my guide on how to download Messenger.
At this point, if you have already installed the Facebook app on your iPhone and have already logged into your account, start Messenger and press the button Continue eat [nome]. Alternatively, tap on the item Accedi con Facebook, enter your account details in the fields Email or phone number e Password and press pulsating Log in, to log into Messenger. After logging into Messenger, you are ready to make a video call. Then press the icon of speech bubble, located in the bottom menu, enter the name of the person you want to call in the field Search and tap his photo.
In the new screen that appears, tap on the icon video camera, at the top right, presses the button OK, to allow Messenger to access your iPhone's camera and microphone, and wait for the person you are video calling to answer. How to video call with iPhone with Skype
Skype is another free application that you can use for video calling with iPhone. Like the other solutions I gave you in the previous paragraphs, an Internet connection is also required to make a video call with Skype: in this case, however, you can only call people who in turn have a Microsoft account and who, in the time of the call, they have Skype in use on their device.
Having said that, to video call with Skype, start the app in question by tapping on its icon (the White "S" on a light blue background), press the buttons Start e Log in or create account, enter your account details in the fields Skype, call the email e Password, and tap on the item Log in, to login. At this point, select the voice Chat, located in the bottom menu, enter the name of the contact to call in the field People, groups and messages, press on the user you want to call and, in the new screen displayed, tap on the icon of video camera, at the top right, to start the video call.
Alternatively, if the person you want to call is among your contacts, select the entry Contacts, at the bottom right, tap onuser of your interest and press the icon of video camera. For the detailed procedure, you can read my guide on how to video call with Skype.
Telegram
Telegram, the famous alternative messaging application to WhatsApp, allows you to make video calls between two users (group video calls are not supported at the moment) with maximum privacy, thanks to end-to-end encryption, and with the possibility of using functions very convenient, like the one to mute the microphone.
To start a video call on Telegram, all you have to do is start the official app of the service, select the contact of your interest, then his nominative (at the top, in the next screen) and press the icon of video camera. Più semplice di così ?!
Other solutions for video calling with iPhone

- Google Duo: is a free Google application that allows you to call and video call all users who, in turn, have downloaded Google Duo on their device. In addition, with this application you can make calls to Google Home devices and video calls to Google Nest Hub devices.
- Discord: is a messaging application mainly used by fans of online video games. It allows you to send text messages, make calls and video calls with users registered to the service.
