Use two Skype accounts with Skype for Web
The best solution to use two Skype accounts at the same time is to rely on Skype for Web, the Web version of the well-known messaging program. By doing so, you can log into your main account via the desktop version and your second account via the online version (or vice versa).
To access Skype for Web, connected to the main page of the service, enter your user number, email or phone number in the field Email, phone or Skype e pulsing sul pulsating Next, then type yours Password in the appropriate field, put the check mark next to the item Keep me signed in if you wish to remain authenticated by not entering your data each time you log in and click on the button Sign in to access. You should know that Skype for Web is also available as an extension for Google Chrome and Firefox browsers. To install it, if you use Google Chrome, linked to this page of the Chrome Web Store, click the buttons Add e Add extension and wait for the installation to complete.
After adding the Skype for Web extension to Google Chrome, you can see the icon of Skype at the top right of the browser: press it, click on the item Log in and, in the new open page, enter your login data in the fields Email, phone or Skype e Password. If you use as a browser Firefox, linked to the Skype Web Messenger page on the Mozilla Addons site and click the button Install. Then wait for the download to complete and press the button again Install (above) to finish adding Skype in Firefox.
If everything went well, you can see the icon of Skype at the top right of the browser: click on it, type your Skype ID in the field Email, phone or Skype e pulsing sul pulsating NEXT, then enter the Password in the appropriate field and click on the button Log in to authenticate to your second Skype account. Now, start Skype in desktop version by logging in with your other account and that's it.
Use two Skype accounts with Outlook.com
A similar solution to Skype for Web is Outlook.com. Microsoft's famous web-based e-mail service, in addition to allowing access to your e-mail box, allows you to use Skype via your computer's browser.
All you have to do to access your account is to connect to the Outlook site and click on the button Log in, then type the email address associated with your Skype account or your Skype ID in the field Email, phone or Skype e pulsing sul pulsating NEXT, then enter the Password and click your bottone Log in. If entering your Skype ID you are asked to merge it with your Microsoft account, press the button NEXT and follow the procedure shown on the screen to merge the two accounts: then enter the Password of your account and presses the button OK.
After logging into your Microsoft account, press the icon of speech bubble at the top right to start Skype over the web, then open the desktop version of Skype and log in with your other account to use two Skype accounts on the same PC.
Use two Skype accounts on Windows
Among the solutions to consider to use two Skype accounts at the same time, there is also Beachfront: it is a free program for Windows that allows multiple access to Skype without going through the browser.
To download Seaside, connect to the program's website and click on the item Free Download SeasideSetup.zip. Then wait for the download of the file to complete, double-click on it and, in the new open window, double-click on the file SeasideSetup.exe to start the program installation. So press on the button Run, click on your bottone NEXT four consecutive times, wait for the installation to complete and press the button end to conclude the setup.
You are now ready to set up Seaside! In the new open window, click the button Add account to add your second Skype account: make sure next to the entry Account Type there is select the option Skype, then enter the name you want to assign to the account in the field Username e pulsing sul pulsating Save to finish adding.
To complete the Seaside setup, click the button Start Skype with all accounts and wait for the Skype window to open, then click on the item Log in, enter the login name of your second account in the field Email, phone or Skype e pulsing sul pulsating NEXT, then enter the Password and click sul pulsating Log in to complete the login.
Now, start Skype normally to use the first account, while to use the second account at the same time, start Seaside Start Multi Skype present in the list of programs on your PC and that's it. You should know that with Seaside you can also use more than two accounts at the same time, by repeating the account addition procedure indicated above.
Use two Skype accounts on Mac
If you have one Mac, you should know that you can use two Skype accounts at the same time with the web solutions proposed above and through the terminal of macOS. How to do? I'll explain it to you right away!
To launch the Terminal, click on the magnifying glass present at the top right, type terminal in the search field of Spotlight and presses the button Submit keyboard. Alternatively, go to the Launchpad (the rocket icon found in the Dock bar) and select the terminal from the folder Other.
In the new opened window, enter the string sudo /Applications/Skype.app/Contents/MacOS/Skype and press the button Submit on the keyboard, then type the Password of your Mac (the one you normally use to log in to the system) and press again Submit.
Automatically, a second instance of Skype will start: then click on the button Log in, enter your login details in the fields Email, phone or Skype e Password e pulsing sul pulsating Log in to connect to your second account.
How to use two Skype accounts on the same PC
