Compatible devices
Before explaining in detail how to use TIMvision, it is necessary to inform you of what are the compatible devices and the minimum requirements necessary for the correct functioning of the service.
Clearly, to be able to see streaming multimedia content, you must first have a broadband Internet connection. In addition, there are also some specific operating system requirements for the supported devices listed below.
- PC with Windows 8.1 or later;
- Mac with macOS 10.4.11 or later;
- Android devices with Android 5.0 and above;
- Apple devices with iOS 8.1 and above;
- TV with TIMvision decoder (such as decoder TIM Box of which I speak to you in a dedicated chapter);
- Samsung Smart TVs and Blu-Ray players (2014 and later models);
- LG Smart TVs and Blu-Ray players (with WebOS operating system);
- Android Smart TV;
- Amazon Fire TV Stick;
- Google Chromecast;
- Apple TV;
- Xbox One.
As for browsers, however, all the main ones are supported: Google Chrome (60+), Mozilla Firefox (60+), Edge (15+), Internet Explorer (11 onwards) e Safari (10+).
TIMvision prices
Before we get to the heart of this tutorial and find out how to use TIMvision, let me also explain the subscription costs: TIMvision is a streaming platform a payment, which allows viewing of content on demand at the cost of € 6,99 per month.
Furthermore, for TIM customers, it is possible to activate TIMvision packages that include Disney + (a 7,99 euro / month), Netflix (a 12,99 euro / month), Disney + and Netflix (a 16,99 euro / month) and DAZN + NOW (a 29,99 euro / month).
The subscription cannot be preceded by a free trial period of one month, as was the case in the past.

The offers mentioned include a free option included in the price: among these there is the possibility to activate TIMvision Plus, to be able to see all the contents of TIMvision simultaneously and also on multiple devices. This option also guarantees the possibility to download the contents, for viewing even in offline mode, where available and on the devices in which the functionality Download & Play is enabled. Furthermore, while viewing the contents, no data traffic is consumed under the TIM mobile network.
In your offer Super TEAM you can activate another free option other than TIMvision Plus (for example YOU, for unlimited calls to all national fixed and mobile numbers). If so, choosing TIMvision Plus as an additional option to the free one offered by TIM, the cost is € 5 / month.

How to use TIMvision on PC
You can see the contents on TIMvision from a computer, as long as it is in use on a PC with Windows 8.1 or later or on a Mac with macOS 10.4.11 or later. Contents are playable via Chrome or any of the major browsers to browse the Internet. For more details, read on.
How to register
To start use TIMvision on PC, you must create an account on the website of the service. As I mentioned earlier, new customers can take advantage of a free trial period of 1 month, with no obligation to renew.
To activate your free trial, connected to the main page of the TIMvision website, press the button Subscribe at the top and fill out the registration form for the service.
Then enter your data in the fields Email e Password, which you will need to access the service; put the check mark next to the item Yes (to accept the terms of the agreement) and choose whether or not to subscribe to receiving emails on suggestions related to content and at news, placing the check mark next to the items Yes o No. Infine, click the button Subscribe, to proceed with the creation of your account.
Within a few moments, you will receive an email to the email address indicated during registration. Then click the button Click here to confirm the activation of your account and you will be ready to use TIMvision. If you don't receive any emails, please check your junk mail.
If you are already a TIM customer and you use an email tim.it o alice.it, registration is not required. You can log in to the TIMvision website by clicking on the button Log in (located at the top) and entering the data associated with your line.
Activate TIMvision
Once you have created an account and logged in to the TIMvision site, the next step is to associate a fixed or mobile line to the service and activate the free trial of the latter or sign up for a subscription.
If you are a TIM customer and you have subscribed to an offer that includes TIMvision, then press theicona dell'omino (top right) and select the option Manage your profile.
Now, to the section Associated lines, award-winning Add number and associate your telephone line (landline or mobile) to TIMvision, by typing the telephone number in the field Enter number and clicking on the button Associate. After this step, you can start enjoying the active content on your line.
If you are not a TIM customer, on the other hand, click on the item Discount present at the top of the main screen of your account, click on the button Subscribe, corresponding to the item TIMvision plus.

How to see the contents
At this point, you are able to reproduce the contents in the TIMvision catalog. On the main screen of your account, in addition to a roundup of featured movies and TV series, you can view numerous other sections, such as Recently added with the latest arrivals in the service catalog, Most viewed with the names of the most popular titles on TIMvision e Chosen for you with films and television series selected on the basis of the content played.
In addition, there are sections Continue to keep, to resume viewing content that you had left pending e Add to Wishlist with the titles you have added to your favorites.
If you prefer to search for a title directly, you can press onicon of magnifying glass present at the top right and type the title to search for; otherwise you can filter by type of content by clicking on the items Cinema, TV Series, Entertainment e Junior present in the side menu.
If you intend to watch a movie, click on the entry Cinema and then choose a genre from those available: Comedy, Dramatic, Horror, Crime, Entrainment , Sentimental etc. Once you have chosen the title to watch, click on its cover image and press the button Trailer to view his trailer, on Add to Wishlist, to add it to the list of your favorite titles or to the entry Guarda, to start playback.
In case the title to see is a TV Series, choose the season of your interest by clicking on the number next to the item Season and select the episode to play. Then press the button Guarda and enjoy the view.
The player to play TIMvision contents has the controls of a common player: then press the ❚❚ button, if you want to pause the video, or the ▶ ︎ button, to resume viewing.
Click the button at the bottom right to play the content a all screen, use the lever located at the bottom right for adjust the volume and click on thegear to select the language of the content to be played.
Finally, I would like to point out that there is a section for renting and buying paid titles. To access it, click on the item For rent (in the side menu), choose a title of your interest among those available and press on its cover image, to access its descriptive card.
Then press the button Trailer, to view the movie trailer, on the voice Add to Wishlist to add the title to your favorites list or option Share, to share the card on social networks.
To start playing the content, however, you have to press the button Rent from [price] and choose whether to rent the title for 48 hours, by pressing on the item Rent at [price], or whether to buy it, by clicking on the item Buy at [price].
Deactivate your subscription
You can deactivate your TIMvision subscription at any time and at no cost. If you have decided not to use the service anymore (or you have activated the free trial and do not want to run into automatic renewal), click on the little man icon present at the top right of the main screen of your account and choose the option Manage your profile.
Then click on the section Subscriptions present on the left and, in the section Payment instruments, pigia sul pulsating Modification to change the details of the inserted card. How to use TIMvision from smartphones and tablets
TIMvision is also available for smartphones and tablets, in the form of an application for Android devices (from version 5.0), iOS (from version 8.1). The app is not compatible with rooted or jailbroken devices. Let's see how it works right away.
How to download the TIMvision app
In order to use TIMvision on mobile devices it is necessary to download and install the free application of the service.
If you have a smartphone or tablet Android, then open Play Store by tapping on the colored ▶ ︎ icon on the home screen of your device. In the search engine at the top, type TIMvision and confirm by pressing the key Search.
In the search results, find the app identified by thea icon heavenly television on white background. Finally, press the buttons Install e Accept and wait for the installation to complete.
Stai using a iPhone o iPad, to install TIMvision open theApp Store (the letter "A" on a blue background on the home screen of your device), press the button Search (in the menu below) and in the field Search placed at the top, type TIMvision.
Then press the items Get e Install positioned next to the TIMvision icon in the search results and that's it. You may be asked to verify your identity using Face ID, Touch ID, or by typing in your Apple ID password.
How to register
Before entering into the merits of the TIMvision registration procedure via the app, you must know that registration is similar to the procedure we have seen for computers and is also identical for all devices.
Then start the TIMvision app, by tapping on its icon, press on the item Subscribe and enter your data in the fields Email, Password e Confirm password.
Then put the check mark next to the item I accept the terms of service and privacy; choose whether to receive promotional messages via email, by placing a check mark on the items Yes o No, award-winning Subscribe and wait a few moments to receive the registration confirmation email. Upon receipt of the email, open it and tap the button Click here to activate your TIMvision account.
Subsequently, to authenticate yourself in TIMvision, start the service app and press the button Log in. Then enter your login details and press on the item Log in.
How to see the contents
To start viewing one of the many titles in the TIMvision catalog, start the app and log into your account, if you haven't already done so.
Now, through the main screen, you can choose the contents among those recently added, the most viewed, Most critically acclaimed and among other categories that will change from time to time, based on the content you will see.
If you want to search for content by title, instead, tap onmagnifying glass icon present at the top right and, in the search field that appears on the screen, type the title of your interest.
Alternatively, if you want, you can also choose the contents based on their type. To do this, click on the button ≡, in order to open the TIMvision main menu, and tap on one of the sections between Cinema, TV Series, Entertainment e Junior.
The section Cinema is, in turn, subdivided by Genres (Comedy, Drama, Horror, Crime, Animation, Sentimental and many others) and categories, such as Most viewed cinemas, TIMvision recommends, Collection samples and more.
Once you have identified the title you want to see, press on its preview image, tap the button Guarda and playback will start automatically. You can manage the player using the common commands: then press the ❚❚ button to pause, ▶ ︎ to start playback and the command all screen, identified byicon with two arrows, to switch to full screen view.
By pressing the icon of speech bubble, present at the top right of the player, you can choose the audio of the content, which can be in In your lenguagen or in the original language (if available). To close the player and stop playback, press on the item Close top left.
How to manage your subscription
You can subscribe to TIMvision and manage your subscription also from mobile: the procedure to be implemented is similar to that seen from a web browser.
The quickest way to sign up for a subscription - and take advantage of the one-month free trial - is to choose a title to play and press the button Subscribe (which appears in place of the button Guarda if you are not a subscriber).
Then press on the button in question and, if available for your account, activate the free trial version. For confirmation purposes you will be asked to enter your credit card details (on Android) or to activate fromApp Store of iOS / iPadOS (on iPhone e iPad), using the payment method related to your account and confirming the operation via Face ID, Touch ID or with the password of your iCloud account. No cost will be charged until the end of the trial and you can cancel your subscription at any time.
If you have a device Android, you can choose to pay with a TIM mobile line or by credit card, while if you have a iPhone or iPad you can purchase the TIMvision subscription directly from App Store.
To disable automatic renewal or cancel your subscription, call the toll-free number 800 187 800 if you have set the credit card as the payment method, or the number 40916 or customer service 119 if you are paying with your TIM residual credit.
In the latter case, you can also act from the Play Storeby pressing the button ≡ located at the top left, by pressing on your username, then on the item Subscriptions and tapping on the item Cancel located next to the TIMvision subscription option.
If you have set up payment via App Store, open the settings iOS / iPadOS (the icon identifies from the gear wheel), tap on the item iTunes Store and App Store, awarded his Apple ID and tap on the item View Apple ID. Then press on the item Subscriptions e fai tap sull'opzione Cancel trial period.
How to use TIMvision from TIMvision decoder
TIM customers with a fixed home line have the option of renting or buying the TIM BOX decoder, available at a cost of 3 euros per month.
By connecting the TIM decoder to your home landline, you can access the TIMvision catalog directly from your TV using the remote control (included in the package) which offers, through the voice function with voice recognition and its integrated microphone, the possibility of "listening ”The user's requests. The TIMvision decoder has integrated digital terrestrial: in this way you can see the free-to-air TV programs, with a single decoder and with a single remote control.
It also gives you access to all the Google Play designed for TV (eg Netflix, RaiPlay etc.), has Google Cast. which allows you to play videos, music and photos from your smartphone directly on the TV, and has a media player to view video content through the SD card reader or through a memory (for example a key USB or hard disk) connected to the USB port.
How to use TIMvision on Smart TV
You can also see TIMvision contents on Smart TV, if the one in your possession falls within the list of those officially supported by the service.
In this case, all you have to do is connect the Smart TV to the Internet, so that you can download the TIMvision app from the default store (for example LG Content Store on LG Smart TV).
At the end of the download, start the app by pressing on its icon, which you will find added in the main menu of your Smart TV. Then log in with your account data, in order to take advantage of the subscription to the streaming platform and, consequently, start playing the content of your interest in the same way you can do on other devices.

How to use TIMvision on TV

In this case, you will be happy to know that the streaming platform is compatible with the main devices that make a TV Smart: chromecast, Amazon Fire TV Stick e Apple TV.
