Su iCloud we are now used to storing a lot of information, taking advantage of the convenience of having it all at hand on our Apple devices. However, it can happen that you accidentally delete a contact, a file from iCloud Drive, a calendar or a favorite from iCloud and also lose it on all other devices. Fortunately, there is a way to recover this content.
If you have lost iCloud bookmarks, files, calendars and contacts, you can try recover them in a few simple steps.
That's how:
- Go to iCloud.com and log in with your account. This procedure works on Mac, iPad, and other desktop computers
- Click Account Settings
- Scroll to the bottom of the page
- In Advanced, located at the bottom left, click on Restore files, Restore contacts, Restore calendars or Restore bookmarks
- Choose an available archive to restore
Warning: the archive you select will replace the contacts, calendars and bookmarks you currently have on all your devices. In any case, iCloud will still store your current contacts, calendars and bookmarks so that you can restore them if necessary.
For calendars, you will need to set shared ones again as they will be removed during the restore process.
