To visit Internet sites that are blocked at work, the first of the useful resources that I would like to point out to you is Blockedsiteaccess.com. This is a Web service that acts as a proxy thanks to which it is possible to surf the net anonymously, disguising the IP clue actually in use and therefore going beyond any restrictions both locally (such as those applied in the workplace) and on a regional and national scale. To use it, no special technical skills are required and its use is free.
To use it, connect to its home page and type, in the appropriate field located in the center of the screen, the complete address of the website to be visited, then click on the button Go which is to the right. Once this is done, you will finally find yourself in front of the website you wanted to visit. Easier than that?
If you want, before starting to navigate to a specific site you can change the settings for using the service by choosing whether or not to encrypt the URL and / or the page, whether or not to accept cookies, etc. adding or removing the ticks from the options below.
Kproxy (Online Service)
Did the service to open blocked sites that I have already told you about not particularly convinced you and are you looking for a valid alternative? Then try taking a look at Kproxy and you will see that you will not regret it. It is in fact a further Web tool used for the purpose in question. It works in a practically similar way to what I have already pointed out to you but boasts a much more pleasant interface and also offers the possibility to select specific servers according to need. It is free but eventually it can also be used in the Pro variant, for a fee, with extra options.
To use it, connected to the internal site of the service, click on the button with the padlock which is on the left to define whether you intend to encrypt the connection or not, type in the field in the center the complete address of the portal you want to visit and then press the button surf! To the right. Done!
If you want, before starting navigation to a given website you can change the servers used by clicking on the link Change Server [+] below and selecting the ones you prefer.
VPNBOOK (Online Service)
Another Web Proxy service that you can contact to access all those internet sites that are blocked is VPNBOOK. Even in this case, it is a cost-free and very easy-to-use resource. It allows you to select the server through which to surf the net, thus offering the possibility of obtaining a US, British, French or Canadian IP address or, again, to have one assigned randomly and to surf with an encrypted connection. In short, try it now!
You ask me how to use it? I'll explain it to you immediately, nothing complicated anyway, don't worry. First of all, connected to the main page of the service and then type the complete address of the website you want to visit in the appropriate empty field that you find under the heading Enter url.
Then choose the server you want to use from the drop-down menu on the right (or leave the option selected Random Proxy to have one assigned to you automatically) and click the button Go. In the screen that will be shown to you later you will finally find yourself in front of the website that until a few minutes ago you could not visit.
Whoer.net (Online Service)
In an article all about how to open blocked sites, it seems only right to tell you about Whoer.net. It allows you to choose between different locations, such as: France, Holland, Russia, Sweden, United Kingdom and United States. It is at a third cost (but possibly available in an "enhanced" paid variant), very easy to use and also has a nice interface. I suggest you try it instantly.
To use Whoer.net, connect to the main page of the service and type, in the appropriate field on the left, the complete address of the Internet site you wish to visit. At this point, use the drop-down menu on the right to choose the server (or leave the option selected Random server to select it randomly) and click on the button Go! which is on the right.
In a few moments you will find yourself in front of the website of your interest. If you want, you can change the server used as well as the compatibility mode of the service also through the specific toolbar of Whoer.net which you will see appear directly at the top of the portal.
anonymoX (Browser Extension)
Instead of contacting one of the above online services, would you prefer to open these blocked Internet in the workplace (or elsewhere) using a special web browser extension? Then I can't help but suggest you employ anonymoX. Even in this case, it is a free resource (but possibly also usable in a paid variant with extra features) which, in fact, allows you to browse via proxy via Chrome o Firefox, all with a simple click. There is no need for complex configurations and registrations and allows you to acquire a Dutch, British or US IP.
If you are using Google Chrome, you can install anonymoX by connecting to the dedicated section of the Chrome Web Store and clicking the button first Add e poi quello Add extension. If you are using Mozilla Firefox, you can install the extension by visiting the appropriate page of the site Firefox Add-ons and then clicking on the buttons + Aggiungi to Firefox e Install.
Regardless of the browser used, once the installation is complete you will see the button with the extension icon (the one with the "x") appear in the upper right part of the browser toolbar. You can then activate browsing via proxy simply by clicking on the just mentioned button and verifying that the switch on the left in the box that has opened has been moved to active (and if this is not the case you provide).
The extension will automatically select the country from which to acquire the IP address and you can immediately start surfing the net behind a proxy going around any blocks that may be applied locally, regionally or nationally. You will be able to know the country whose IP you have purchased from the extension menu, by looking at the symbol of pennant (which is that of the country of reference) and to what is reported alongside.
If necessary, you can also manually select the country by simply clicking on arrow downward that you find at the pennant in the extension box or by clicking the button with the double arrow to go directly to the next server.
Then, if you want to know the IP acquired, press the button with the magnifying glass that you find to the right of the writing Connection overview, always in the box accessible after clicking on the extension icon, and check what is reported under the writing anonymoX. I also point out that, if you think you need them, you can save the settings used for the website you are visiting. To do this, just click on the writing Save settings for this site.
And when you no longer need it, remember to disable the extension's operation by first clicking on the relevant button in the browser window and then on the switch on the left in order to bring it to Inactive.
TunnelBear (Windowos/Mac)
As anticipated at the beginning, online services and extensions aside, there are also special software that can allow you to open blocked websites. Among the various available, I highly recommend you give it a try tunnel Bear. This is a program for Windows e Mac which allows you to disguise the IP address actually in use with an American, British, Spanish and various other countries, thus allowing you to access any portal on the network and circumvent the limitations.
It's free but you can use up to a maximum of 500MB / month. To exceed this limit, you need to subscribe to a paid plan (starting at $ 4,99 / month). It should also be noted that in order to use the service it is necessary to create an ad hoc account.
To try TunnelBear immediately, first visit the program's website and click on the button Get Started, It's Free. Then create your account to be able to use the service by typing your e-mail address and the password you want to use and clicking on Create Account. Once this step is done, the download of the application will start on your computer. If this does not happen, scroll down the web page and press on operating system logo you are using to force the download.
Now, if what you are using is a Windows PC, open the .exe file obtained, press the button I Agree, its install and Si to complete the setup. If you have a Mac instead, drag the TunnelBear icon into the folder Applications macOS, right-click on it and press apri twice in order to start the program going to circumvent the limitations imposed by Apple against unauthorized developers.
When you then see the TunnelBear window appear on the screen, enter the data relating to your previously created account in the appropriate fields and first click on Log In and subsequently on Skip, in order to skip the presentation on the use of the software. Then select on the map that appears the country whose IP address you want to buy by clicking on the relevant icon tunnel and then pressing the button Si in the comic.
In addition to the way I have just indicated, you can select the country from the drop-down menu at the top left.
