If you have a computer available and you want to know when the online stamp expires, you can contact the institution's website ACI, which allows you to check the expiry and the amount of the stamp to be paid for all regions of the city or its payment, if the stamp has already been paid.
To take advantage of the service made available by the ACI, go to the institution's website, scroll down the page and locate the form Vehicle and holder data. Subsequently, fill it in providing all the information requested in the appropriate text fields and menus: specify, therefore, the type of payment region of residence of the holder, vehicle type targa and then reports control code to pass the security check required to complete the procedure. Then click on the button Calculate.
Once this is done, if you were to see a message informing you of be in advance of the expiry of the car tax, it means that the stamp has not yet expired and, therefore, you will also be shown the date of last renewal and that of deadline. In case you should instead see a message related to a amount not yet paid, evidently you have not yet paid the stamp duty: also in this case you will see the Expiration date of the stamp duty, which however you have evidently already passed, as well as the amount to be paid and any arrears to be paid due to non-payment.
In some cases, to view the above information, it may be necessary to provide additional information about the vehicle and / or its owner, such as the car's power, year of registration, and so on. Provide this data if necessary, so as to access the information of interest to you relating to the expiry of the stamp.
As regards the payment of the stamp duty, if this has occurred but has been made through subjects not connected to the ACI archives, the data may not even be accessible. Take this into account. Understood?

Specifically, you might give the app a chance Vehicle Scanner, available for Android and iOS / iPadOS: it is one of the best apps from a graphic point of view, with which to check all types of information about the vehicle, including insurance, inspection, complaints status and car tax. Once this is done, press on the item Details, locate the box Bun and check the expiry date of the stamp, its amount, etc.

- Check RCA city (Android) - app for Android devices able to check the RCA insurance of vehicles, simply by entering the license plate. In addition to insurance, it can also show useful information on the stamp.
- Infotate (Android) - another app for Android smartphones and tablets with which, by simply entering the license plate number, it is possible to obtain valuable information about the vehicle, including the status of the insurance, the status of complaints and even the expiry of the road tax.
- load (iOS / iPadOS) - app able to indicate the insurance coverage, the expiry of the road tax, the expiry of the inspection and any active reports of a vehicle. To use it, simply enter the vehicle registration number and complete the various captchas that appear. Basically it is free, but information regarding the owner of the vehicle is accessible in the paid version, which costs € 2,29.
