How to download Deezer on Android
The first thing you need to do if you want to understand how Deezer works is to download the application to your mobile device.
If you have an Android smartphone and want to know how to download this application, then you must first tap on the Google Play Store icon. The application has the symbol of a colored triangle and it is the virtual store through which applications and games are downloaded on Android smartphones and tablets.
Then tap on its icon to start it and from the search engine located at the top, in correspondence with the wording Close your Google Play, type Deezer Music then pressing the key Search from the keyboard of your smartphone (it is the button with the magnifying glass symbol) to display the search results.
The Deezer application will appear as a search result and you will be shown its preview tab. To download it, at this point you will have to press the green button Install and, if requested, accept the application download by pressing the button Accept.
Once this is done, you just have to wait for the download and installation to complete automatically. It usually takes a few minutes and, at the end of this automatic procedure, you will see the button appear apri within the Android Play Store.
To be sure that the app has been installed on your device, you just have to wait for the Deezer icon (it has a black background and an equalizer symbol) to appear on the main screen of your device.
At the end of the installation you must then start the app by tapping the button apri from the Android Play Store or tap the app icon directly from the main screen of your device.
How to download Deezer on iOS
Is your trusty smartphone an iPhone and would you like to download the application to use it? Not a problem, the Deezer application is also available on the iPhone; in the following lines I'll explain how to download and install it.
First, take your iOS smartphone in your hand and tap on theApp Store from the main screen of your device. The iOS App Store, or the virtual store through which you download games and applications on iPhone and iPad, has a blue icon with the symbol of a stylized A.
Once you have tapped on it, immediately tap the button Search that's the one with the symbol of the magnifying glass and is located in the lower right corner. In this way you will be able to see the screen dedicated to the search and, in correspondence with the wording App Store you will find a text field. Tap on this and type Deezer Music then pressing the key Search: it is the one located at the bottom right and is located on the keyboard of your smartphone.
This will allow you to view the search results and locate the application in question. Keep in mind that, if you have any doubts, the application Deezer Music is developed by Deezer Sa and has a black icon with the symbol of an equalizer.
Once you have located the application, you will need to install it; to do this, press the button Get and then on the button Install.
If you are asked to confirm your identity, place your finger on the Touch ID of your device, or type the password of your iCloud account, in order to confirm the installation and download of the application itself.
Once the application is downloaded, the button will appear in the App Store apri and the app icon was automatically added to your smartphone home screen.
To start the Deezer application you will then have to choose whether to tap the button apri or if you tap on the app icon that you can see on the home screen of your mobile phone.
How Deezer works on Android and iOS
To understand how Deezer works, first start the app by tapping on its icon that you find on the main screen or from the reference store of your Android or iOS device.
Deezer is an application that allows you to listen to music in streaming and that requires registration completely free.
From the home screen of the app then press the button Subscribe if you need to create your account for the first time. To register with the app, you can choose whether to press the buttons Facebook o Google, to register quickly through one of the two social networks.
Alternatively, you can manually fill in the registration text field. In the latter case you will have to type some information necessary for the registration itself including e-mail, Password, username and then indicate yours age and yours sex. Once you have filled in the appropriate text field for registration, click on the button Subscribe to accept the conditions of use of the application and then proceed to create your account.
For convenience, however, I recommend that you register via your Facebook or Google account, in order to significantly speed up the process of creating your account.
Once registered, you will be shown the initial screen relating to the characteristics of the version free of this application. Deezer is in fact an application that allows you to listen to streaming music that comes by default in its free version with commercial breaks, advertising banners and limitations. However, there is the possibility of subscribing to Deezer + to get unlimited use of the app and therefore its additional features, such as downloading music for offline listening.
However, if you do not wish to take out a subscription and want to use Deezer for free, click on the button Use Deezer for free with ads.
Once you are in the main screen of the application, you can start using it to listen to streaming music. Deezer's home screen is the one marked with house symbol and shows a list of recommended albums and music tracks divided into different sections: Explore, Recommended playlists, Trendy, Standings e New releases.
Instead, by tapping the button with the little man symbol you will be able to see your profile screen and thus find the playlists and albums you have saved in your favorites at any time.
Instead, by tapping on the magnifying glass symbol, you can type the name of an artist or song to search for within the application. The music note symbol will allow you to receive updates on the artists you choose to follow.
To start using the app, go to the main screen (the one with the house symbol) and tap on a music album to view the list of songs contained within it; to listen to the album, tap the button Play in shuffle mode.
In the version free in fact, you can only randomly play the songs within an album. You can add an album to your favorites by tapping the button with the three dots symbol which you will see located at the top right; in the drop-down menu that you will see on the screen you can tap on different menu entries such as for example Add to a playlist, Add to my music o Add to listening queue.
The main feature of Deezer is the mode Process from application to course commencement which offers you to listen to songs in random mode, but according to your preferences. From the main screen of the app, then tap the button with the Play symbol to start listening to your Flow.
In some cases, the app asks for the customization of Flow during registration, but if you are not asked to indicate the artists you prefer to listen to, you can change your Flow at any time by tapping the button with the Play symbol which you will find on the main screen.
By pressing the button in question, you can start listening to the Flow proposed by Deezer by default. At any time, however, you can customize your musical composition and indicate your tastes: to indicate to Deezer that a song is to your liking (you will then be offered similar songs) press the button with the heart symbol. If you don't like a song, press the button with the X symbol. The Flow algorithm will update according to your preferences and will try to offer you listening to songs in line with your choices.
How Deezer works from the web
Deezer is also available for use via its official website; in this way you can listen to music in streaming even from PC and Mac, using one of the most popular browsers to surf the Internet.
To start using Deezer from the Web and go to its official website via the link I provided you and register by pressing the button Registration which you can see at the top right.
If you have previously registered with Deezer via the application for Android or iOS, then connect to the Deezer website by pressing the button Facebook o Google or by indicating yours email address and yours Password in the respective text fields and then pressing the button Connection.
As for the functioning of the Web version of Deezer it must be said that its characteristics are practically identical to the version for Android and iOS smartphones.
In the version free you will be offered the possibility to listen to music in streaming but only in random mode. From the Web version of Deezer you can also listen to your Flow and customize it as I explained above: just press the buttons with the heart symbol and X symbol.
