Preliminary information
Before getting into the tutorial, then before answering the question "How can I call a number that has blocked me?", there is some preliminary information in this regard that I think it is my duty to provide you.
First, I want to tell you how to try recognize a phone number that has blocked you. Starting from the assumption that the most absolute certainty of the thing cannot be given to you by anyone but the same person who would have committed the "crime", there are some "signs" that can allow you to take this hypothesis seriously, namely: the telephone number you're trying to call gives the free signal once, but then the call is disconnected or the voice mail; the phone number you are trying to call appears perpetually busy, at any time of day or night.
The above cases occur because some phone apps and / or services divert blocked phone numbers to voicemail. However, the same conditions can also occur in other circumstances, for example if call forwarding has been activated on a certain number, when a do not disturb function is enabled, when the receiver's phone is switched off, etc.
To corroborate, therefore, the thesis that a number has blocked you, the conditions described above need to occur for a medium-long period of time; but in reality not even in this case you can be 100% sure of the thing (absolute certainty cannot be had, if not by asking directly the alleged author of the block).
Having said that, it should be emphasized that blocking the telephone number is not an irreversible condition and that it can be canceled at any time. To make this happen, however, a direct intervention by the person who applied the restriction is required: I have explained everything to you in detail in my tutorial on how to unblock a blocked number.
How can I call a contact who has blocked me
Once you understand what are the clues that can help you understand if someone has really blocked your phone number, let's now find out how you can go about calling a number that has blocked you.
Essentially, that's enough hide the caller ID (in a nutshell, you have to call anonymously) and that's it. In this way, in fact, the telephone of the person to call will not be able to detect your number (the call you made will not be accompanied by your number, but by a wording such as Private number or Unknown) and, consequently, will not even be able to filter it and treat it as a blocked number. For more details, read on.
From Android
If you use a smartphone Android and you are wondering "how can I call a number that has blocked me?", to begin with, take your device, unlock it (if necessary), access the home screen and / or the drawer and start the dialer (the numeric keypad) by tapping on the relative icon (usually it is the one with the telephone handset lifted).
In the new screen that you now see, tap the button Menu (usually it is the one with the three dots) located at the top and on the voice Settings. Next, go to the section Calls / Other and then in that Other settings, tap on the wording Caller ID e choose l'opzione Hide number. Done!
Now, try calling the phone number of the person you think blocked you, composing it on the numeric keypad or by selecting the relevant contact from address book, which you can access by selecting the appropriate item in the current screen or by pressing theicon of the application (usually it is the one with the phonebook) placed on the home screen and / or in the drawer. If your guesses were correct, you will finally hear the classic free phone signal and hopefully you will also get an answer.
Then remember to deactivate the option to hide the number when you no longer need it. To do this, log back into the dialer, award your bottone Menu, go to the section Settings> Calls / More> Other Settings> Caller ID of Android and select the option Show number.
As an alternative to the procedure I have already explained to you, you can temporarily disable the display of the caller ID by accessing the numeric keypad of Android and typing the telephone number of the person you want to call preceded by the code # 31 # (e.g. # 31 # 1234567890 if you want to call the number 1234567890). Then press on key to start the phone call (usually it is the one with the green handset lifted).
Please note: considering that there are several versions of Android in circulation, that smartphone manufacturers often apply customizations to the operating system and that I do not know exactly the brand and model of the device you use, the information I have given you in this chapter may be slightly different for your mobile.
From iPhone
If you are wondering "how can I call a number that has blocked me?" and the one in your possession is a iPhone, you have to proceed as follows: take your device, unlock it (if necessary) and select the icon of Settings (Quella a forma di ruota d'ingranaggio) that you find on the home screen and / or in the iOS App Library.
In the new screen that you will now see, select the wording Telephonewho quills Show caller ID and move up OFF the lever that you find next to the item Show caller ID.
Then try to call the number of the person you think has blocked you by accessing the dialer (the numeric keypad), by selecting thePhone app icon (Quella with the telephone handset and the green background) present on the home screen and / or in the app Library and tapping on the item Keypad placed at the bottom, or by taking it directly from the list contacts, which you can access by selecting the item Contacts at the bottom of the current screen or by selecting theContacts app icon (Quella with the phonebook). If after the call has started you will hear the free phone signal, most likely your numbering was really blocked and in this way you should finally get in touch with the person of your interest.
Then, remember to activate the function again to show the caller ID, by going to the section Settings> Phone> Show Caller ID of iOS and moving on ON the lever next to the item Show caller ID.
In addition to how I indicated earlier, you can temporarily disable your caller ID by accessing the numeric keypad of iOS and dialing the telephone number of the person you want to call preceded by the code # 31 # (e.g. # 31 # 1234567890 if you want to call the number 1234567890). Then start the call by pressing the button with the green handset lifted which is located at the bottom.
From landline phone
Let's see, now, how to act from landline phone to call a number that has blocked your telephone contact. In this case, the procedure to be implemented differs slightly depending on the type of phone you have.
If what you are using is a telephone with a display and configuration menu (such as many cordless phones), you can disable the function that shows the caller ID by accessing the menu of settings of the appliance and intervening on the options related to anonymous calls.
To give a practical example, on the cordless Gigaset C530 you can make a phone call by hiding the caller ID only for the current call by pressing on right symbol of central buttonby selecting the key OK, choosing the option Next anonymousby pressing on OK, typing the telephone number of your interest and finally choosing Select.
Then try to call the number of the person you think has blocked you, dialing the number on numeric keypad phone or by selecting the contact from address book device, then wait for the call to be initiated or you can do it yourself by lifting the telephone handset or pressing the dedicated button (usually it is the one with the telephone handset lifted). If after the call has started you will hear the free phone signal, most likely your numbering was actually blocked and in this way you could finally contact the person of your interest.
As an alternative to how I just explained to you or if you have an "old-fashioned" phone, which does not have the above features, you can try calling a telephone number that you think has blocked you by prefixing the latter with a special code, that is: * 67 # for TIM, WINDTREE e Fastweb and # 31 # for Vodafone.
Another system you have on your side to call anonymously from a landline and, therefore, to contact a number that has blocked you is to ask directly to the telephone operator of your interest to hide your account when calling from a landline. To do this, get in touch with your operator's customer service, proceeding as I explained in my specific guides relating to TIM, Vodafone, WINDTRE and Fastweb and ask for the necessary instructions to remove your contact number from the public telephone directory.
How can I call a number that has blocked anonymous calls
The situation tends to get complicated if you need to call a number that has blocked anonymous calls and who presumably blocked your numbering as well. The thing is feasible, but the chances of succeeding in the enterprise are reduced more.
In this case, in fact, a first way you can take is to try use another plaintext number and that perhaps the person to contact does not already know or that in any case does not lead back to your person (to be clear, if you are trying to call a friend with your parents' phone number, it is not excluded that this may have also blocked contacts in question, by mere association).
Another way to try to call a number that has theoretically blocked both anonymous calls and your number is to try to make a VoIP call via messaging services, Such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger e Skype, as I explained to you in my guides on the subject. In this case, the call should be successful, as long as the person you are trying to call has an active Internet connection on their device and has not blocked your number even in this circumstance.
