How to register on Amazon
To understand how Amazon works, the first fundamental operation to be carried out is to create an account on the well-known platform. In fact, only after creating an account is it possible to buy and sell products and access all the features and services offered by Amazon.
To create your account from computer, linked to the main page of Amazon, click on the item Account e list and, in the new screen displayed, press the button Create your Amazon account. Then enter the required data in the fields Your name, Email e Password and click on the button Create your Amazon account, to complete the registration and login.
If you prefer to register with Amazon from smartphones and tablets, start the service app for Android or iOS / iPadOS, tap the button Log in, place a check mark next to the option Create an account, inseerisci i tuoi dati nei campi Your name, Mobile number or email e Create a password and press pulsating Continue.
Once this is done, log into your inbox, locate the email sent by Amazon and note the verification code contained within it, then enter it in the field Insertion codice e fai tap sul pulsating Create an Amazon account, to complete the registration and activate your account.
How to buy on Amazon

All you have to do is locate the item you intend to buy, add it to your account cart, specify the shipping address and payment method you prefer and complete the order. The procedure is almost identical both from a computer and from a smartphone and tablet.

Credit and debit cards (including prepaid cards) of all major circuits, Amazon vouchers, current accounts and the Amazon Pay proprietary system are accepted. PayPal, on the other hand, is not accepted. To manage the payment methods, click on the button Account e list (top right) and go up Payment options.
Alternatively, you can also choose the option Pay in cash which allows you to pay for your orders in cash at a Western Union point of sale at no additional cost. By selecting this payment option (not available when choosing shipping options that allow you to receive the products in one business day), you will be provided with a payment code via email which, within 48 hours of your purchase, will allow you to make the payment in one of the 4.300 Western Union agencies scattered throughout the city (click here to find the one closest to you).
On selected products sold and shipped by Amazon (excluding Warehouse products), the payment in installments. To use it, you must have an Amazon account active for at least one year, use a valid credit / debit card (not prepaid) with a deadline set at least 20 days after the expiry of the last installment of the product to be purchased and you must have a history of valid purchases. Finally, in the section Review the items and shipping, put the check mark next to type of shipment you prefer and click on the button Buy it now, to complete your purchase. At this point, clicking on the item Returns and orders, you can view the status of your order and track the shipment. After you have received the item you purchased and tested its operation, if you wish, you can leave a review of the product. To do this, go to the section Returns and ordersclick on your button Write a review for the product, select the article you wish to review and enter the required data in the sections Overall rating, Add a title e Write your review. It will be helpful for you to know that by doing so, you can become an Amazon reviewer and may become part of the program Amazon Vine which allows you to receive free products from Amazon.
If, on the other hand, you have received an item that is damaged, not working or different from the one ordered, you will be happy to know that you have 14 days to make a complaint to Amazon and start the return procedure that allows you to be refunded. How Amazon Prime Works
To avoid paying shipping costs and have one business day delivery on over two million products, you can activate Amazon Prime. If you've never heard of it before, you need to know that it's a subscription service (4,99 euro / month o 36 euro / year) which also allows preview access to lightning offers and which includes numerous services, such as Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music (with limited catalog access), Amazon Prime Reading and many more. In cities like Milan and Rome (as far as the city is concerned), it also allows you to access Prime NOW, to order the shopping and receive it at home within two hours.
To activate the Amazon Prime free trial on a computer, click on the option Sign up for Prime, at the top right, select the option Sign up and use it for free for 30 days and, if you haven't already, select the option Add a card, to associate a valid payment method with your account. It will be useful to know that you can deactivate your Amazon Prime subscription at any time by clicking on the option Account e list and selecting the voice Premium. In the new screen that appears, locate the box Subscription management, scegli l'opzione Don't Continue - Waive Prime Benefits and click on the buttons End benefits e Cancel subscription, to deactivate Amazon Prime.
If you are wondering if it is possible to activate Prime from smartphones and tablets, I am sorry to tell you that it is not possible to do this using the Amazon app. However, you can proceed using the browser installed on your device (eg. Chrome your android e Safari on iPhone / iPad) by repeating the procedure to activate Amazon Prime from a computer.
How Amazon Locker Works
Amazon Locker is a service that allows you to make purchases on Amazon and choose a self-service collection point in your vicinity as the shipping address, with the possibility of collecting the package independently and within three days of receipt. The ideal solution for all users who cannot be present at the time of delivery by the courier.
All you have to do to use Amazon Locker is to make sure that the product you intend to purchase is compatible with the service in question (the listing reads This item can be delivered to a collection point) and, on the screen Order summary, press on the option Choose related to the item Or select a pick-up point.

How Amazon Pay Works
Amazon Pay is the Amazon payment system that can be used to make purchases in total safety, on all online shopping sites that allow you to pay with this payment method (eg Trenitalia, Italo, Kappa, Moschino, Mailticket etc.).
All you need to do to pay with Amazon Pay is to associate a valid payment method with your Amazon account. To do this, connected to the main page of the famous online shopping site, click on the option Account e list and press on the item Payment options. In the new page opened, select the option of your interest between Add a card, to add a credit or debit card, or Add a checking account, to add your bank account.
From smartphones and tablets, start the Amazon app, tap the ☰ button, at the top left, choose the options My Account e Payment options management and tap on the item Add a payment method. With that done, you are ready to make your purchases using Amazon Pay.

How to sell on Amazon
If you are wondering if it is possible sell on Amazon, you will be glad to know that the answer is yes. In fact, by creating a seller account you can open a shop on Amazon and sell your products.
Before explaining how to create a seller account, you need to know that there are two sales plans available: Account base is the free plan that allows you to sell a maximum of 40 items per month, applying a fixed closing fee of 0,99 € and a referral fee depending on the category of product sold, while Account Pro (39 euros / month) is the plan dedicated to professional sellers who sell in large quantities and who pay a commission per referral depending on the product sold. In both cases, there is also one management fee which varies depending on the product sold.
Having said that, to create your seller account on Amazon, connected to the main page of the famous online shopping site, log in to your account, click on the item Account e list e seleziona l'opzione Selling on Amazon. In the newly opened page, click on the button Register now and answer the questions Where is your company based? e What kind of business do you own? (you can also choose the option None, I am an individual seller).

Once you've created your store, choose your options Catalog e Add a new product, insertion il article name you want to sell in the appropriate field and click on the icon of magnifying glass, to view the search results. If there is a similar product available to the one you want to sell, click on the item Sell this product, otherwise select the option Create a new offer, enter all the required information and click on the button Save and finish, to publish your advertisement.

How Amazon Music Works
