Before seeing in detail how Disney + works, I assume you want to know in detail what content is available on the service, how much is the subscription price and from which / how many devices it is possible to access it. Well, you are satisfied: find all the information you need right below.
Disney +: catalog
To understand how vast the catalog of Disney +, just mention the brands involved in the service: obviously Disney, with all its classics, both animated and live action (“The Lion King”, “Aladdin”, “Beauty and the Beast” etc.); Pixar, with all his feature films and short films (“Toy Story”, “Wall-E”, “Up” etc.); The Marvel movies, with all the movies and series dedicated to the most beloved heroes (did anyone say “Avengers”?); FOX, with iconic films and series (such as "The Simpsons"); then films and series of Star Wars, and documentaries National Geographic, as well as movies and TV series Star Original (“Big Sky” and “Love, Victor”, for example) which belong to the brand Star and much much more: there is really plenty of choice!
The list, moreover, is only destined to grow, thanks to the arrival of many television series, films and originals of the platform (eg "Star Wars The Mandalorian" or the live action of "Lady and the Tramp"). It should be noted that the contents are available with audio tracks and subtitles in various languages, obviously including in your languagen, and with a resolution that can also reachUltraHD / 4K us Dolby Vision (if your connection allows it).
Disney +: prices
Disney + has an ordinary price of 8,99 € / month or 89,90 € / year (but those who are already subscribers pay 6,99 euro / month or 69,99 euro / year, until the first renewal deadline after 22 August 2021). However, you can cancel your subscription at any time by connecting to this page, logging into your account (if not yet logged in) and clicking on the appropriate item.
Before the official opening of the service in the city (March 24, 2020) a promo was launched to have 1 year of Disney + at 59,99 euros. It is not known whether such a formula will be proposed again in the future.
I would like to point out, then, that TIM offers customers TIMvision (its video streaming service) the possibility of activating a special offer to watch TIMvision + (the enhanced version of TIMVision) e Disney + us 3 months free and then a discounted subscription for the latter. Disney +: devices
Disney + is available on all major software and hardware platforms and allows up to four streams simultaneously us 4K and Dolby Vision support across multiple devices, with the ability to create up to seven profiles per account (to be used in your own household). Going into more detail, this is the list of compatible devices.
- computer - Disney + content can be accessed from all popular browsers. Chrome 75 and later, Edge, Firefox 65 and later, Internet Explorer 11 and Safari 11 and later are supported.
- Smartphone and Tablet - The Disney + app is available for Android (Android 5.0 and later), iPhone and iPad (with iOS 11 and later and iPadOS) devices, and Kindle Fire devices with FireOS. The apps also allow you to download content offline.
- Smart TV - Disney + is available as an application on many Smart TV models, such as Android TV, LG WebOS and Samsung Tizen.
- Other devices - Disney + content can also be accessed on the TV via other devices: Chromecast, Fire TV Stick, Apple TV HD / 4K (both via app and via AirPlay), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
As for the connection requirements, for the contents SD any ADSL should suffice for flows HD are required 5 Mega in download, while for streams in 4K a connection of at least 25 Mega.
How to use Disney +
Now that you have all the information you need, you are ready to activate your account and start using Disney +: choose, therefore, the device you prefer the most and follow my instructions to enjoy all the contents of the platform.
Disney +: how it works on PC
If you want to use Disney + from a computer, connected to the main page of the service and click on the item relating to type of subscription What do you prefer.

Once your registration is complete, log into your Disney + account and that's it. On the home page of the service you will find the most interesting contents of the moment and those suggested for you based on your visions. In the top menu, however, there are links for the Home Research Watchlist, the Originals of the platform, i Videos and Series.
Once you have identified the content of your interest, all you have to do is select it by clicking on its miniature. This will open the tab of the content, with the description of the same, the button to start / resume playback, the button capacitor positive (+) lead to add it to your list and a series of tabs which, depending on the content chosen, may contain episodes, recommended content, extra e details (date of publication, genre, cast, rating, and so on).
Once the playback has started, you will find yourself in the presence of the most classic of gods player, with the timeline and multimedia control buttons (go back and forth, pause, adjust the volume and activate / deactivate the full screen mode) and in the upper right theicon to choose audio track and subtitle. Of course, the position is automatically saved and, therefore, it is possible to resume playback from where it was left off from any device.
If you want manage your account or profiles linked to the latter, all you have to do is click on yours profile picture present in the menu located at the top. This will open an additional menu through which add a profile, edit existing profiles, access the settings of theaccount, go to the section help of Disney + and run the logout.
In the account settings you can change email address, Password e billing information in use. In the section dedicated to billing data you can find out the expiration of the subscription and eventually cancel its automatic renewalby clicking on the appropriate item.
Disney+: app
As mentioned above, theDisney + app it is also available for smartphones and tablets, more precisely for Android devices (with Android 5.0 and later), iPhone and iPad (with iOS 11 and later or iPadOS) and for Amazon's Kindle Fire. On these devices it is also allowed to download offline content (which expire after a few days).
To get the application, all you have to do is open the store of your device (eg. Play Store su Android o App Store su iPhone / iPad), search for Disney + inside the latter and first press on theicona dell'app in the search results and then on the button Ottieni / Installa. On iOS and iPadOS you may be asked to verify your identity with Face ID, Touch ID, or Apple ID password.
Once the installation is complete, all you have to do is start the application and log into your account (or create one, the steps to be taken are practically the same as I showed you before for the procedure from a PC). Therefore, identify the content of your interest and enjoy the show.
If you want to take advantage of the download function, select the movie or episode you want to download and tap the option DOWNLOAD located to the right of the button PLAY. Later, you can view your content offline by selecting the tab DOWNLOADat the bottom right of the menu bar.
To manage profiles e account, you can instead use the appropriate link in the menu bar.
Disney +: how it works on TV
You want to enjoy Disney + content on your own television? Nothing easier. You have tons of solutions at your disposal to do this.
There was one Smart TV equipped with the operating system Android TV, a TV LG WebOS or TV Samsung Tizen, you can access the app store and conveniently download theDisney + application, which once logged in will allow you to access all your favorite content. If you do not have a Smart TV or your TV is not compatible with Disney +, you can easily remedy the problem with a device such as Chromecast, Fire TV Stick, Apple TV HD / 4K, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, to connect to the TV to access the service.
For chromecast, you must connect the device to the same Wi-Fi network to which your smartphone or tablet is connected, launch the Disney + app on the latter, press on thetransmission icon (the Wi-Fi wave screen), select the name of yours chromecast and then start the content of your interest, in order to start projecting it on the TV.
As regards Fire Tv Stick, Apple TV and video game console, you need to access the store built into these devices, look for the Disney + and install it. All you have to do is log into the app with your account and enjoy all your favorite content.
If you have an iPhone / iPad, you can also send content to Apple TV using the system AirPlay: just connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network, start the content of your interest in the Disney + app for iOS / iPadOS, press thetransmission icon (the screen with the triangle) and select yours Apple TV give the menu check if you press.
