💾 Hogwarts Legacy Supported Language Options

The game will be played in the language selected in the settings of your system or game platform, if available. The languages listed below are included in both the physical and digital versions of Hogwarts Legacy. An additional download may be required to access some languages. The available audio and subtitle options vary by location and this can have a significant impact on your gaming experience. When purchasing the game, be sure to choose the appropriate version for your language, account region, and geographic location.

Change your language settings or download language packs

PlayStation®5

In the PlayStation®5 version, the available audio languages can be accessed through downloadable add-on packs.

Follow these instructions to download the voice packs.

Make sure the game is not running.
Go to PlayStation®5 Settings > System > Language & Region and select one of the supported languages. Be sure to also change the region based on the selected language.
On the [Game Home Screen], scroll all the way to the right and select [Game Library].
Select Hogwarts Legacy from the list of installed titles.
Press the Options button on your DualSense™ controller and choose [Manage Game Content].
This displays additional audio language packs, which can be queued for download by selecting the arrow icon next to your preferred language.
Wait for the language pack to download and install and then launch the game.

Xbox

Make sure the game is not running.
Go to Settings > System > Language & region and select one of the supported languages. Be sure to also change the region based on the selected language.
Accept the message that asks you to restart the console.
Launch Hogwarts Legacy and accept the message asking you to install the language pack, then keep an eye on the loading bar at the top right as you enter the main menu.
Wait for the language pack installation to finish (it may finish before you get to the main menu).
You will now be able to play in the selected language.

PC-vapor

Make sure the game is not running.
Launch Steam and open the Library menu.
Find Hogwarts Legacy in the list and right-click on the title. Select the [Properties] option.
In the menu that appears, select the [Language] tab.
Left click on the drop down menu and select the desired language. The game will install a small update. The user interface and subtitle language will change the next time you start the game. The audio will also change, if it is available in that language.
