Buddybank's basic current account is free of charge, with free withdrawals on the UniCredit network (in the city and abroad), ordinary SEPA transfers without commissions, cash payment on advanced UniCredit ATMs without commissions and 24-hour access to the Banking Concierge service, which allows you to receive banking assistance and the buddybank service.

The basic account includes a international MasterCard debit card it can be associated with Apple Pay, with a zero annual fee and an IBAN that can be used for payments, both online and in physical stores, and for ATM withdrawals. Limits, movements and card blocking can be easily managed from the app.
You can then request the Word Elite MasterCard credit card (again via app, after bank risk assessment), which gives access to over 1.000 VIP Lounges
airports with the MasterCard Airport Experience program and allows you to pay in installments at a predetermined cost based on the amount and number of installments chosen.
The annual fee of the card, which is equal to 80 euros, if the buddybank love module is also activated, is included in the monthly fee of the latter (9,90 euros / month). More info here.
AirPods Promo
Who opens a buddybank account between 1 March and 1 July 2019 and carry out, within 90 days of opening the account, transactions for at least 1.000 € with buddybank payment cards using Apple Pay, you can join the AirPods promo and require Apple's True Wireless Earphones (with Lightning Charging Case).
For the purposes of the promo, both transactions made via physical POS and online on Apple Pay apply. The accounting date of the transactions is valid. By posted transactions we mean all transactions recorded and therefore viewable in the activity list of the buddybank app. All transactions made in order to make top-ups via Apple Pay to or from gaming providers, bookmakers, gambling and betting operators (including online) and banking and financial service providers are excluded from the count.
The prize is sent by courier to each entitled person within 180 days from the indication, by the person entitled, of the address at which he intends to receive the prize. Those who, having previously opened and closed a buddybank account, open a new one cannot take advantage of the promo.

How to open a buddybank account
THEopening a buddybank account takes very little time. To complete the operation, you just need to download the buddybank app on the iPhone (which is compatible with all iPhone models equipped with iOS 10 or later) and have the required documents at hand, i.e. a document of your choice between fiscal Code e health insurance card and a document of your choice between identity card, driving license e passport.
So, the first step you need to take is to open theApp Store of your iPhone (the icon of the letter "A" on a blue background on the home screen), select the tab Search present at the bottom right and search Buddybank in the search field.
Once this is done, select the icon buddybank from the search results, click on the button Get and verify your identity through Face ID, touch ID o password dell'ID Apple. If you are reading this post directly from your iPhone, you can open the App Store page dedicated to buddybank by tapping here.
Once the download is complete, start the buddybank app, agree to receive notifications by the latter (in order to receive, for example, alerts relating to transactions carried out) and press the button Become a buddy, to start the account opening procedure.
Then press the buttons Discover the offer e I accept and continue! and fill out the form that is proposed to you by typing, in the appropriate text fields, all the required data: name, last name e fiscal Code. Next, hit the button Continue, check that all the information entered is correct and press the button The data is correct, to continue.
Now you have to type in your contact details, then yours telephone number and yours email address in the appropriate fields, press the button Accept and continue and verify, also in this case, that the data entered is correct. To continue, click on the button The data is correct and verify your email address or phone number by typing i verification codes that you will receive, depending on the option chosen, via email or SMS.
Once your identity has been verified, you must complete the citizenship and residency forms. Then select the paese where you live from the appropriate drop-down menu, tap the button The data is correct and fill out the form that is proposed to you with all the required information: ZIP code, municipality, province e Address House number.
To confirm, tap the button Continue, then specify if the address at which you intend to receive the buddybank card coincides with your residence o DOES NOT coincide with your residence (putting the check mark next to one of the two available options) and press on Continue, to go to the next step.
Now, point to yours Country of tax residence using the appropriate drop-down menu and press the buttons Continue e The data is correct (making sure that the information entered is correct).
After that you have to send yours identity documents to buddybank, photographing them with the iPhone camera: to do this, tap the button Open the camera, allow the buddybank app to access the camera (by answering affirmatively to the warning that appears on the screen) and take a photo of the front part of the tax code or health card. The photo must be clear and the information on the document must be legible. If the shot doesn't come out well, don't worry, you can repeat it.
Once you have a good quality photo, press the button Accept photos, to confirm, then photograph the back of the document and go ahead, pressing on the buttons Accept photos e Continue.
After photographing the tax code or health card, you must choose the second document to be photographed between paper identity card, electronic identity card, license e passport. Once you have indicated a document among them, photograph it frontal and then the Retro of the same (as done just now with the tax code or health card), then tap the button Accept photos to move forward.
Now you have to fill in the form that is proposed to you with all the data of the document you have photographed: in the case of the identity card, Identification Card No, issuing authority, Municipality of issue, release date e Expiration date. Once this is done, click on the button Continue, check the correctness of the information entered and press the button The data is correct.
Once you have filled out the form, you need to verify your identity by clicking one face photo + document or by requesting a verification code by bank transfer. Once you have made your choice, follow the instructions on the screen to complete the verification procedure, enter the answer to the Security Question that is sent to you and press the button Continue, to move forward.
At this point, press on the item Privacy and choose whether to consent to the processing of your data for marketing purposes, by putting the check mark next to the item I agree or next to the item I do not agree, then check the box at the bottom of the screen (I declare that I use the contact details provided with full and exclusive availability [...]) and the first button Continue, to move forward.
Now indicate which one is yours profession between entrepreneur, self employed, employee, freelance, not busy e pensioner, specifies il job sector in which you operate, theworking activity that you carry out and fill in the anti-money laundering questionnaire, indicating the province of your employment country of your employment and l 'origin of your funds (Eg. salary). Once you have also passed this step, press the button Continue.
Then indicate if you are a politically exposed person, specify if play a sensitive role e premi sui pulsnti Continue e The data is correct (after verifying the correctness of the information entered). Then tap on the button Continuescegli se activate buddybank love or whether to open the basic account of buddybank and exit the application.
Now, for your account to actually be opened, you have to wait for one video call by the buddybank staff.
When you receive the appropriate notification SMS, open the buddybank app, press the button close (to close the message reminding you to keep your documents at hand), select all the options displayed on the screen, read the various documents that are proposed to you and tap the button Make the video call, to initiate the call.
During the video call (which, as reported, will be recorded), the buddybank operator will ask you to confirm acceptance of the terms of use of the service and will invite you to show your identity documents. The whole thing will only last a few minutes.
Once the video call is finished, you will receive two codes, one via SMS and one via email. To open the account, then access your e-mail box, open the message you received from buddybank, press on the item click here contained within it and agree to open the app of buddybank.
At this point, type the membership code that you received via email, click on Continue, type the temporary password you received via SMS and press once again on Continue.
With that done, create one access password to buddybank (to be typed twice in a row), accept the InfoCert documentation, check all the items related to contracts to accept, press the button Continue and type il code of confirmation 8-digit number received via SMS.
Finally, create one operative password of 6-10 characters and press the buttons Continue ed Enter the app, to log into your buddybank account and start using it. If you want, by answering in the affirmative to the appropriate warning that appears on the screen, you can configure the app so that access can be made via Face ID o touch IDinstead of entering the password.
How to set up Apple Pay
Add buddybank cards ad Apple Pay it is a very simple operation, which allows you to use the cards associated with your account to make payments online and in physical stores (via contactless POS) using the Apple payment system. Also, I remind you that it is required to participate in buddybank's AirPods promo.
The basic buddybank account requires the sending of a international debit card by MasterCard directly to the customer's home, within 48 working hours from the day following the opening of the account.
The card, before being added to Apple Wallet (the electronic wallet of the iPhone, which then gives access to Apple Pay), must be associated with the buddybank app. When you receive your card, then start the buddybank app, press the icon relating to paper (under the current balance) and tap the button for activate the card, then type the CVV (the 3-digit code printed on the back) in the appropriate text field, press on Continue and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the procedure.
Once the association is successful, press the button for add the card to Apple Wallet, then tap the button NEXT present in the next screen (top right) and wait a few seconds. After that accepts the conditions of use of the service, by pressing on the appropriate item located at the bottom right, and wait a few more seconds for the procedure to be completed correctly. If you have a Apple Watch, you will be asked to add the card to the latter as well, so that you can use your smartwatch to pay in physical stores.
Alternatively, to associate a card with Apple Pay, you can open the app Wallet on your iPhone, press the button capacitor positive (+) lead located at the top right, tap on the item Continue and scan your card using your phone's camera.

How to top up your account
To fund your buddybank account you can use a simple transfer (as the account has an IBAN) or a payment in cash and checks at the advanced UniCredit ATMs.
To find theIBAN of your account, open the buddybank app and tap yours profile picture located at the top right: you will find the IBAN on the next screen, immediately under your profile photo.
To find the advanced UniCredit ATMs available nearby, instead, start the buddybank app and select the card Find ATM, which is located at the bottom right.
How to pay with buddybank
Paying with buddybank is very simple: thanks to the cards linked to your account, you can pay Online shopping and purchases made in physical stores without any problem. Also, you can carry out wire transfers (instant, SEPA and international), phone cards, newsletters e MAV / RAV / REP.
To pay for online purchases, simply enter your card details in the payment form of the site or app in use and, if necessary, generate the confirmation token in the buddybank application (on the screen dedicated to the card or by making a deep tap on the app icon, if you have an iPhone with 3D Touch). For purchases in physical stores, however, you simply have to insert the card into the POS or move it closer to the latter, if equipped with system support contactless.
Alternatively, you can take advantage of the Apple Pay system, by pressing the appropriate button available on sites and apps that support Apple's payment system (and then verifying your identity via Face ID, Touch ID or Apple ID password) or , in the case of physical stores, by double-pressing the iPhone power button or on Apple Watch side button and approaching the device to the POS (in the case of the iPhone, before you can make the payment, you will have to unlock the phone via Face ID, Touch ID or code).
As for wire transfers, telephone top-ups, bulletins and MAV / RAV / REP, you can make this kind of payments simply by starting the buddybank app, by pressing the button Go to payments and then selecting the type of payment you want to make. Bills can also be paid by scanning QRs with the phone's camera.
Please note: By default, the MasterCard debit card associated with buddybank has a spending limit of € 1.000 / month. You can raise this limit up to 5.000 euros / month totally free of charge by contacting the banking Concierge service.
How to manage accounts and cards
Managing your buddybank account and cards is really a breeze. On the app home page, for example, you can immediately see the available balance (initially dimmed, to view it in clear text you have to tap on it) and a list of the last movements made, which you can access by making one swipe from right to left.
By pressing, instead, on yours profile picture (top right), you can access the management page of your account, through which, by pressing the icon of thegear (top left), you can change login password, slide password, application theme e Face ID settings. Then pressing the button Manage your offer, you can manage your offer by requesting the activation of the modulo love or the account closure.
To activate the love module, just press the button Activate module love, take a look at the papers shown and sign the contract by entering the device password. Subsequently, to deactivate the module (which, I remind you, costs 9,90 euros / month and also includes the annual fee for the Word Elite MasterCard credit card, if required) just go back to the screen with the account settings and press on 'appropriate button.
And to manage the cards? All you have to do is press on the items related to the latter on the home screen of the buddybank app (Debt e and ): this will open a list of the last movements carried out with, at the top right, an icon in the shape of gear. By tapping on the icon in question, you will be able to access all the card options: daily and monthly limit for ATM withdrawals, activation and deactivation of use via POS, Web e TMJ, activation deactivation of notifications relating to the movements made e activation / deactivation or even card blocking same.
Furthermore, for the Word Elite MasterCard credit card, you will find options to edit the card usage limit (max 5.000 euro), pay off the reimbursement of purchases in installments or carry out the payment of transactions in installments (if their sum corresponds to a minimum of 250 euros and a maximum of 5.000 euros, within the limits of the credit line granted). To save the changed settings, remember to press the button Save, located at the top right.
To request the Word Elite MasterCard credit card, just click on the item Credit - Request on the buddybank app home screen, reply OK at the notice reminding you to keep an ID on hand, set up your own ceiling (1.000-5.000 euros), take a look at the privacy modules and Basic European information module on consumer credit, complete the anti-money laundering questionnaire, provide income and personal information (if not already provided when opening the account), upload a document certifying that the salary has been credited, sign the credit card contract and wait for the card to be sent.
You can monitor the status of your requests (including credit card requests) by pressing the button Other (bottom right in the buddybank app) and selecting the item Status requests give the menu check if you press.
How to use Concierge services
The basic buddybank account includes a Concierge service available 24 hours a day for every banking need, thanks to which it is possible to chat with a human operator and thus solve any doubts or problems related to the operation of buddybank.
The service is also available for customers who activate the love module Quintessentially lifestyle concierge, which allows you to solve every type of need related to everyday activities: book restaurants, hotels, travel, buy tickets for events, receive advice on gifts to buy and much more.
You can access the Concierge services directly from the buddybank app by clicking on buddybank logo located in the lower center, or via the app Messages, by contacting the buddybank account (operation that you can also perform by pressing the button Chat with your Concierge available on the app home screen).
